  1. Does Crede have options left?
  2. Hear hear! I HATE it when people don't bother to check how a player's name is spelled before they post.
  3. I like the new Reds alternate jerseys

Ohh there has to be a few folks hated more.
  7. Kind of interesting that Koch throws a scoreless 9th with a 9 run lead. I'm not sure where to go with that info, but it IS interesting to say the least.
  8. What do you mean, uhoh? The Yankees rule!
  9. Twinks already went down today 5-4 to the D-RAYS....! The Sox gotta take advantage of this.
  10. When did the owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers get on 60 minutes?
  11. I want to know why they were eating Dead Parrot.... Even if it was a Norweigian Blue (because they stun easily).
  12. Yep, Hillenbrand will go back to Boston for Byung-hyun Kim.
  13. Yeah Shingo... if you give up a run in the World Series this year with the Sox, I'll forgive you.

Sorry to bump this thread up, but this is a must see. Run!!!
  15. I don't believe Seattle would want Lee. He is too highly paid for their budget and not quick enough to play LF all the time at Safeco. They would probably want a younger, faster OF prospect that they can sit on for a year or two while they rebuild.
  16. http://www.macon.com/mld/thestate/sports/b...all/7773826.htm Freddy Garcia ruptured both eardrums late 2002 and spent all of 2003 playing in pain. He had surgery in the off season and seems to be pitching better because of it. The article says that "Team officials don't believe there was any link between Garcia's struggles and his ear problems.", but I have had ruptured ear drums and they hurt like hell. So, who knows...
  17. Like the Sox couldn't use a pitcher with an ERA of 2.89 this year against Anaheim, Oakland, Texas, Detroit, Minnesota and Baltimore. Garcia is a strong #1 or #2 pitcher. 7.0 IP per start and 41Ks in 56IP and only 4 HRs given up this year. I fail to see the downside. PS it's US Cellular Field now.
  18. Reinsdorf would pick up $7 Million if the team was in contention. He picked up $$ last year when they needed to make an upgrade. Colon was offered more than $7 Million and he isn't as good as Garcia this year. (Yes, I realize that they would have had to trade Ordonez or Konerko if they re-signed Colon.)
  19. If Seattle is truly out of it by the All Star Break they might trade Garcia to the Sox for Joe Borchard, Felix Diaz and Andy Gonzalez. It would help Seattle improve their minor league system and give them help in the power, SP and 3b positions for 2005-6. Borchard may make it to the majors someday, but I think that Sweeney and Reed have a better chance to be successful.
