  1. Probably move him down to #5 and let Wright be the #4.
  2. The last thing I wanna see is Konerko scratching his nuts in high definition. :puke

    KW

What about Sandy? He could be replaced easily by Burke.
  4. My bad... it was Singleton... I see someone else was thinking about speed as well though. ie. Timo
  5. I think it's safe to say that Sox fans have been waiting on Willie ever since he came over from Baltimore for Charles Johnson.
  6. Soriano won't play any position but 2b except for a bit of SS. It was agreed before he was traded.
  7. I know they are playing this Uribe/Harris thing.. but what about Eric Young? Texas doesnt need him at 2b.. they have Soriano now. They don't need him at SS.. they have Michael Young. 3b? Nope Hank Blalock is anchored there. So, you think Texas would deal him for a minor league SP? --------------------------R H HR RBI SB BB AVG E E. Young (Tex - 2B) 80 119 15 34 28 57 .251 16 W. Harris (CWS - 2B) 19 28 0 5 12 10 .204 2 J. Uribe (CWS - SS) 45 80 10 33 7 17 .253 12 Young is pretty close to Uribe in HR, RBI and BA.. but he is quicker than Juan. The Sox could use some speed that actually hits at leadoff. Just a thought.
  8. Who woulda thought that ATL would gotten rid of both Bubba and his Bong?
  9. He could be a better rapper than baseball player... Lately, it wouldn't take much.
  10. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-b...ov=ap&type=lgns More preseason camp fodder to push Tucker and Gandy. I wonder if Salaam and Brown are turning down the Bears. Love that goatee though
  11. I think living in Chicago during high school and then staying in town for the pros has really stunted Curry's growth and maturity an an adult and a basketball player. He still has his old habits as a high schooler. He hasn't hit the wall to the point where he realizes that it takes more than athletic talent to succeed at the highest level. A trade away from the Chicago area would kick him in the pants enough where he might improve himself. Maybe Charlotte.
  12. 8 out of 16... My St Louis bracket is toast, but the good news is that 3 of my final 4 are still active.
  13. I hear ya... no Fox Sports Chicago for me OR WCIU. I got Fox Sports Detroit. :puke WGN sometimes... They blackout my White Sox games on ESPN, since my cable company uses the Chicago feed. (Comcast :fyou ) Rooney and Farmer on WMVP is all I pretty much get unless I drive to Chicago for games.

    Elvis

I noticed FlaSoxxJim's sig about Elvis impersonators.. Have any of you ever gone to a show? A friend of mine is an impersonator.... Irv Cass It's amazing all the stories he tells me of women grabbing him and stuff.. old women.. :puke
  15. Nothing like starting the season off with two "do or die" series'. It will show what the Sox are made of early on. I have a feeling Gammons and Harold Reynolds will eat their words about 3rd and 4th place in the Central when the KC series is over. The Yankees could be a bit more difficult though.

    Gay Prince Book

Public schools are funded by many people who support and don't support alternative lifestyles. Shouldn't those who don't support it have as much of a voice as those who do?
  17. I take it you've never gone to a private christian college then. It's called a "code of ethics and standards" ie. the college administration's ethics and standards.
