  1. It's very odd to get rid of a guy after only two games, though. Something must have happened.

  3. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 19, 2013 -> 11:37 AM) Jon Morosi ‏@jonmorosi 1h Mariners majority owner Hiroshi Yamauchi has died, according to reports. His purchase of the team two decades ago saved MLB in Seattle. ...and he never attended a Mariners game.

  5. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Sep 18, 2013 -> 10:49 AM) Hmmm James Starks (who I just picked up @ CIN) or Daryl Richardson (@ DAL) as a flex? Me, personally. Even though he has a nagging injury, I'm going with Richardson. Cincy's rush D is tougher than Dallas'. Plus there's slim chance that Lacy gets some snaps, so Richardson may get more PT.
  6. QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 16, 2013 -> 12:25 PM) Richardson is injured? He has a nagging foot injury.

    I don't even bother with "taped" sporting events and didn't even have HD until about 2 years ago. I could live without them both when it comes to sports. It's tougher to live without internet info and streaming sports online for me because I don't want to pay for TV sports packages.
  8. Joique Bell has been quietly racking up points due to his pass catching abilities. Should I consider starting him week 3 versus the weak-ass Redskins defense or choose Steven Jackson or Daryl Richardson even though they're injured and not as productive?

    QUOTE (Jake @ Sep 16, 2013 -> 12:02 PM) Can we get a daily/weekly "greg says" topic? 3rd person mandatory.
  11. Had the worst luck in one league. Larry Fitzgerald, Roddy White, Maurice Jones-Drew, Steven Jackson, and Eddie Lacy all under-performed by reason of injury.

    I like Facebook because it's easy to talk to people about things and you get an interactive feel to it all. If you want to play games, listen to music, look at humorous pictures, join groups and talk about sports, or politics, or your hobbies, or just keep up with high school, college or internet friends, it's easy. Twitter is good for humorous one-liners, up-to-the-second news, and new topics and trends. I prefer FB to Twitter because it's more visual and easier to communicate with people.

  18. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Sep 1, 2013 -> 04:00 PM) I think he had a chance to get him at 1st since the runner probably wasn't running thinking the line drive was caught. But Conor wasnt prepared to throw it but ump probably said he dropped it and forced him to try for the out at 1st. It was an ill-advised, poorly-made throw. Time or not. He should have put it in his pocket.
  19. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Sep 1, 2013 -> 03:52 PM) Robin Ejected after Gillaspir snares line drive. Goes to double up runner from thrird , loses the ball , ump says dropped line up , Conor then has to hurriedly throw to 1st and throws it away. Run score runner on 2nd on the wild throw. And now a single by Ortiz who has just murdered us this series and it's 7-4. I'm pissed at the throw more than anything.
