  1. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jun 16, 2012 -> 11:48 PM) f*** giving them Mitchell. Buehrle's contract is so back loaded it was designed to be traded if they didn't contend. To get 30 mil, it would have to be a good prospect. Mitchell is good, but not a future star in my opinion.
  2. QUOTE (ewokpelts @ Jun 16, 2012 -> 10:39 PM) You paid $100 for stadium club passes? You got ripped off. No. The premium club level box seats.
  3. Scored two club passes online for $100 for Sunday. Looks like I'll be watching in style.
  4. Because they're still thinking small and not regionally or nationally like they should. Do the Cubs have a toll-free number?
  5. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 16, 2012 -> 06:14 PM) I fail to see what is clever about calling a pitcher a vegetable. But whatever. Phil-er up. PHd of pitching. The Incredible Humber. anything but cuchumber. Or how about this? Phil Humber. That works. Lately he's been Burnt Humber.
  6. Buehrle + 30 mil for Floyd, Humber, and Jared Mitchell.
  7. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jun 16, 2012 -> 07:18 PM) you couldnt match my movie quote? Inconceivable!
  8. I'm facebook friends with him. He doesn't have to dream.
  9. QUOTE (spiderman @ Jun 16, 2012 -> 04:16 PM) With Sale, Peavy and Quintana holding together (although, each have obvious concerns), it really does come down to Gavin Floyd getting things together, and leaving one question mark, which is hopefully John Danks, who may end up serving as a quasi-trade addition if he doesn't have a serious arm injury and can return in the next 1-2 months. As for the 5th spot, Humber's clearly in need of a good start tonight else I do think they will make a switch, whether it's Axelrod, or some other option. Unfortunately, the White Sox are regressing back to .500 quickly here, hope they can get things right in LA against a good team. Sale had a below average outing (3 runs in before he left) but last night is on Crain, Alexei's brain fart, and Thornton. Last night does not prove Dodger superiority.
  10. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 15, 2012 -> 10:44 PM) When Uribe got to first, I'm sure he just said "Never Forget Paulie, never Forget' "Boy, do you miss Ozzie as much as I do?"
  11. Seems to me that NL baseball ruins 1/3 of the run scoring opportunities every game.
  12. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 15, 2012 -> 08:04 PM) Rockies had a great chance to blow the Tigers out of the water...already scored 2 runs and bases loaded, no outs, and Crosby got out of it with a force at the plate and double play when Giambi forgot there was only one out and dogged it down to first and looked back over his head at the plate. Now it's 2-2 and the Tiggers have all the momentum. Three doubles in a row by DET. Francis just doesn't have an out pitch to go to, had a 21+ ERA when he started this game although he's been good against AL Central most of his career. 3-2 Tigers now. 4-3 Rox now.
  13. I'm shopping for tix for Sunday 6/24 at the moment. I'll be there. I just haven't decided on how far away from the action that I want to be.

    QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 15, 2012 -> 05:59 PM) He's like 11 now, it just got bad the past month. Just got home from work, and he had bitten through a sock & a plastic medical bag wrapped around the paw. All that with a cone on. When we are home, he is so well behaved and doesn't touch it. As soon as we go to sleep or leave the house, then BAM! Think the allergy medicine will be the next step. Thunder shirt?
  15. The $35 ones are way back in the back of the bleachers. I'd rather pay $45-50 and sit in better seats.

    QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 15, 2012 -> 12:13 PM) "you know why you work for tips? because no one will stick the whole thing in" LOL. Conan should just do his show here from now on. "Nothing gets past you, does it? Especially if it has carbohydrates."

  18. Is it normal for other franchises to have their entire lineup go into a slump simultaneously?
  19. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jun 14, 2012 -> 03:03 AM) Doc has a ring? Oh you're right. I got my Phillies team/Halladay combo mixed up.
