  1. QUOTE (Felix @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 05:58 PM) It pretty obviously hit off Noah's leg. QUOTE (daa84 @ Jan 29, 2012 -> 05:58 PM) it definitely hit off of noahs knee I'm watching it on a s***ty internet feed.
  2. Noah is clownshoes today. But still, if Miami knocks the ball out of his hand and it goes out of bounds - how is it their ball? It didn't appear to touch Noah.
  3. His direct hitting coach was Charlie Manuel. There are worse teachers.
  4. Notre Dame baseball has a history of success in the Big East. It's just really tough to make it to the college world series every year without major recruiting.
  5. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jan 28, 2012 -> 11:25 PM) Sorry to beat a dead horse, but I can't resist. Must be nice to have money to spend??? Rios ... Dunn ... Peavy. ...and THAT is why people pick on you.
  6. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jan 28, 2012 -> 10:17 PM) @BobMcGinn Bob McGinn Phil Emery is one of the finest evaluators of college f-ball players that I have been privileged to interview. The @Bears hired a good man. (McGinn is a Packers beat writer, one of the better respected journalists) Plus it gets Emery away from the OCD horror that is Scott Pioli.
  7. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 28, 2012 -> 10:15 PM) Of all of the stuff to complain about... What exactly is he supposed to say there that wouldn't have you complaining? Drop standard admission prices by 25-50% during the week and see if you get more people in...
  8. Maybe he'll be the director of White Sox Charities. He's always been good with charity work.
  9. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jan 25, 2012 -> 05:25 PM) PNC bought out National City three years ago. I had originally opened by NC account in the summer of 2007. I still have my original NC checkbook, that's how infrequently I write checks. QUOTE (farmteam @ Jan 25, 2012 -> 05:37 PM) Judging by the number I'm on, I've written fewer than 20 checks in about 4.5 years. I actually ordered new checks from a 3rd party company and had them start at 1500 on the numbering so that way it looked like I had written a lot of checks. I'd say that I only write maybe 12 a year at maximum.
  10. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Jan 25, 2012 -> 05:03 PM) The road one's were better http://shop.mlb.com/product/index.jsp?productId=10754637 Light blue with ZIPPERS!!!!!!! I am truly afraid of these as throwbacks: http://shop.mlb.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4234826
  11. QUOTE (SOXOBAMA @ Jan 25, 2012 -> 04:59 PM) pretty cool idea... That's a fun way to bring more money to the organization.. I love the 1959 uniforms Even the blue jerseys from the mid 60s were cool: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_VFYuAlZ9trY/TNdz...+Horlen+(f).jpg
  12. QUOTE (SOXOBAMA @ Jan 25, 2012 -> 04:54 PM) it's for every sunday home game I think that they should have Throwback Sundays. A different retro jersey every Sunday.
  13. A bit of "revenge" by the Florida State Senate: http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/mlb-big-leag...-151458504.html

  15. QUOTE (SuperSteve @ Jan 24, 2012 -> 10:10 PM) I'm not sure to be honest. It's Bill Simonson. Yep, same guy.
  16. Looking at early mock drafts, there don't seem to be any good SG options around the end of the 1st round for the Bulls to take. Plus, with the way that the Bobcats are going, the Bulls won't get to use that pick until 2016.
  17. Cabrera has a higher OBP than Braun because he walked more and had 10 more 2Bs last year. Cabrera will have less walks in 2012 if he bats in front of Fielder.
  18. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 24, 2012 -> 06:43 PM) Similar game? That couldn't be further from the truth. Okay. Explain then, your objection.
  19. QUOTE (ptatc @ Jan 24, 2012 -> 06:28 PM) Is Fielder and Cabrera better than Fielder and Braun? I'd say similar. Cabrera is not as quick as he used to be and plays a similar game to Braun.
  20. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jan 24, 2012 -> 01:07 AM) Alright cool, it seems Red Sox 2010 1st RD pick Kolbrin Vitek (Ball State Alum) is on board too. Not sure which I will choose, or maybe I will do stories on both, and show the contrasts between the careers of Terry Doyle and Vitek, although they are different ages and play different positions, so separate stories would probably be better. Jamey Carroll will be at the same camp as Doyle and Vitek will be the same place as Tim Bogar. It could be helpful to get vet opinions too.

    Meal Deliveries

There are delivery services that go to local restaurants. They could provide her with a menu and you could give them a credit card authorization form. Then they could bring her food whenever she wanted it.
  22. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jan 23, 2012 -> 05:05 PM) If you're going to have MVP's being picked though, you sure as s*** can't have OBAMA choosing them. You should have one OBJECTIVE person choose the MVP's, or else, have all the predictions submitted to an OBJECTIVE non-participant and kept secret until the contest has been completed. That being said, I agree with Badger that no one really has much of a stink here... But yeah, the kicker was not the MVP either. The nice thing about the Super Bowl is that there is an announced MVP. The bad thing... 90% of the time it's the winning team's QB. Not much guessing there.
