  1. Lineup I'd like to see today. (It won't happen) Anderson - SS Madrigal - 2B McCann - C Abreu - 1B Jimenez - DH Moncada - 3B Robert - CF Garcia - LF Engel - RF
  2. RHP (8): Dylan Cease, Alex Colomé, Jimmy Cordero, Dane Dunning, Matt Foster, Lucas Giolito, Codi Heuer, Evan Marshall LHP (5): Aaron Bummer, Garrett Crochet, Jace Fry, Dallas Keuchel, Carlos Rodón C (3): Zack Collins, Yasmani Grandal, James McCann INF (6): José Abreu, Tim Anderson, Leury García, Nick Madrigal, Yoán Moncada, Yolmer Sánchez OF (5): Jarrod Dyson, Adam Engel, Eloy Jiménez, Nomar Mazara, Luis Robert DH (1): Edwin Encarnación
  3. I still wouldn't mind taking a flyer on Puig in RF in 2021 if he can be a team player. He and Abreu seem to have gotten along fine as teammates in Cuba.
  4. I was thinking... I don't think that you can do that in baseball...
  5. These f-ing chokers. I don't even care about the playoffs.
  6. I'm low on reactions. I'll take all the reactions that I can get.
  7. Let's finish the regular season with a sweep! Chicago Cubs (32-25, first in the NL Central) vs. Chicago White Sox (34-23, second in the AL Central) Guaranteed Rate Field Chicago, IL; Friday, 7:10 p.m. CDT PITCHING PROBABLES: Chicago: Yu Darvish (7-3, 2.22 ERA) Chicago: Dylan Cease (5-3, 3.52 ERA) LINE: Cubs favored by 1 1/2 runs; over/under is 8 1/2 runs BOTTOM LINE: Sox enter the game as losers of their last five games. The White Sox are 17-10 on their home turf. The Chicago offense has compiled a .261 batting average as a team this season, good for sixth in the majors. Tim Anderson leads the team with an average of .338. The Cubs are 13-11 on the road. The Chicago pitching staff as a whole has an ERA of 3.89. Yu Darvish leads the team with a 2.22 earned run average. TOP PERFORMERS: Jose Abreu leads the White Sox with 19 home runs and is batting .325. Anthony Rizzo ranks second on the Cubs with 11 home runs home runs and is slugging .419. INJURIES: White Sox: Evan Marshall: (shoulder), Jimmy Lambert: (forearm), Eloy Jimenez: (foot), Leury Garcia: (thumb). Cubs: Brad Wieck: (hamstring), Rowan Wick: (oblique), James Norwood: (right shoulder), Tyler Chatwood: (right elbow), Ian Happ: (ankle), Ildemaro Vargas: (hamstring), Daniel Descalso: (ankle), Kris Bryant: (oblique).
  8. I thought that Dunkirk was boring.
  9. To be honest, I'd rather not face Cleveland round 1, so this can be a positive.
  10. They ranked Kelley higher pre-draft. I wonder how good he is.
  11. Why not use last 102 of 2019 and add it to the 60 of 2020?
  12. Or run through your bench pinch hitting and replacing your pitcher.
  13. You really can't (shouldn't) do that in the playoffs. Grandal should be 1B if McCann is catching.
  14. God bless us, every-one.
  15. I want Robert to focus on his plate discipline, Cease to try to work on his control, and the team to focus on Cleveland and then shut down their injured guys for the rest of the regular season so that they can be rested for the playoffs.
  16. I'd almost want Keuchel to start game 1. His experience and leadership are one and two. Third, he has been more consistent than Giolito this year.
  17. After yesterday, Cease should definitely sit over Dunning. Seven walks will not do it - especially in the playoffs.
  18. He should work on a third pitch. He can't be a long term starter with only two good pitches.
  19. Holmberg just got the championship win for the Independent League Milwaukee Milkmen.
  20. Please be advised that inappropriate racial/group slang words such as "Injuns" are not allowed and will result in a minimum 10 day suspension. You wouldn't use the N word to describe a black person, or the R word to describe a person of special needs. Don't use this one either.
  21. How many games will St. Louis, Miami, and other COVID affected teams get in before the regular season ends?
  22. I'd still be hesitant continuing the McCann at catcher/Grandal at DH. You're going to end up with an injury and no back up catcher without losing the DH spot. Perhaps Grandal could relieve Abreu at 1B occasionally.
