  2. Idiot with pipe bomb near Times Square injures himself.
  3. QUOTE (flavum @ Dec 10, 2017 -> 06:53 PM) Jack Morris and Alan Trammell elected to the Hall. It’s going to be a long, long ceremony in Cooperstown. Might as well let Tommy John in as well.
  4. QUOTE (2005thxfrthmmrs @ Dec 5, 2017 -> 05:19 PM) LaVine. Levine reminds me of Bruce. But does Bruce have the handles?
  5. QUOTE (WhiteSoxLifer @ Dec 1, 2017 -> 04:29 PM) Rick Hahn on his strategy approaching Winter Meetings Dec. 11-14: "I would characterize our strategy as secretive." https://twitter.com/CST_soxvan/status/936698337675431936 "Any 1990s Cleveland Indians out there?"
  6. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 30, 2017 -> 10:57 AM) This is the Tesseract sketched in Howard Stark's notes from Iron Man 2. It was also in the after credits of Thor.
  7. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 30, 2017 -> 10:08 AM) GOTG had nothing to do with choosing Thanos. The decision to start the Infinity storyline came way before they even decided to do GOTG GOTG main plot line consisted of Thanos' daughters and the purple infinity stone. I was saying that the film was involved in the Thanos story line.
  8. QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 30, 2017 -> 10:15 AM) Outside Michigan St and maaaaaaaybe Purdue, B10 is pretty weak IMO. These B10/ACC matchups were dumb. Ready to see how ND does against MSU.
  9. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Nov 29, 2017 -> 03:04 PM) Sure, but there's no reason they had to pick Thanos. Sure there is. They wanted to connect their GOTG series with the Earth serieses. The Infinity stones are part of Thor, GOTG, Avengers (Vision), and Dr. Strange. Thanos owns the Infinity Gauntlet.
  10. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Nov 29, 2017 -> 10:23 AM) I'm sure it'll be solid, but I'm about tired of the cookie-cutter plots. Villain has no interesting motive other than being evil/loving power. Villain must collect [powerful relic]. Villain drops a portal/destructive device into middle of big city. Villain commands army of nameless cgi monsters. That's pretty much Thanos' story, though.
  11. Jon Bon Jovi? That's how I first read those initials.
  12. QUOTE (Quin @ Nov 27, 2017 -> 02:13 PM) RE: The draft I feel like Bagley is #1 now, with it falling in this order: 1) Bagley 2) Doncic 3) Ayton 4) Porter (healthy) 5) Bamba Of course Bagley has the most fit issues with Lauri, but maybe he can play new-age center or develop the handle to play SF. They'll trade down to re-acquire Jordan Bell.
  13. The Bears are the first NFL team in 17 years to pass for less than 140 yards and rush for single digits in a game.
  14. I'm just tired of Kelly and his coordinators blowing games at the end of the season every year. Wimbush is not a starting quarterback at this point in college. He has no touch and can't think on his feet when under duress.
  15. QUOTE (ChiSoxJon @ Nov 20, 2017 -> 03:33 PM) Hopefully they make the juicers wait If they can put Selig in, anyone can go in.
  16. Released in 2016 after struggling in AA. Been in independent leagues since. Sox career over.
  17. Split 2016 and 2017 between WS and Birmingham. Still struggling to hit but showed power in 2017. Already 24, so his time is running out quickly.
  18. Repeated AA in 2017 and struggled at the plate. Even was demoted to WS and Kanny for some ABs. Still relatively young, but he's lost the shine that he used to have.
  19. Middling results at AA Birmingham in 2017. Still only 21 though. May repeat AA in 2018 or get a look at AAA.
  20. Pitched better at the end of the season. From iffy SP to possible 5th SP in 2018.
  21. Played in the independent frontier league last season. Out of the Sox system.
