  1. This could be an additional reason (plus arm angle) why Sale fell to the Sox.
  2. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Mar 18, 2016 -> 09:24 AM) Thanks. No problem!
  3. 25 and 69 are nearly impossible to pick up over the air even near South Bend.
  4. QUOTE (scs787 @ Mar 15, 2016 -> 08:28 PM) JWebb Nation staying alive. Signed a 2 year deal worth 6.5M. Years ago I was one of his lone "Supporters" while everyone said he wasn't an NFL player. Where are you now in his support?
  5. Rented and watched The Good Dinosaur. It was "meh" to me, plus there were a few disturbing scenes that I was surprised to see. Not really funny or entertaining. Just another kids film that will be forgotten in a year. 2 stars out of 5.
  6. QUOTE (LDF @ Mar 14, 2016 -> 03:59 PM) it all went into the crapper when Rose first got hurt, and this is not hang the whole blame on rose. this is the truth and all the incidentals that goes with it. the frustration, from both sides of management, the FO vs the coaching staff. bottom line, the FO did not do its job. by getting a player who can fill in when rose was hurt. forcing the coach to get creative, and he did. ref to airing the dirty laundry, that is FO and Gar, if i remember correctly. granted when thibs was asked about not getting a player that he needed, he told the reporters to talk to the bosses. still, what else was he suppose to say???? btw, the rumor of Hoiberg coming to chi started several yrs earlier..... by whom??? it is all frustration and finger pointing. Thibs is a great coach, they should have blew up the team 3 or 4 yrs ago, before Noah got hurt. as long as rose contract is hanging around their neck, they were doomed. You're blaming the front office for not finding a replacement player on an equal level to 2011 MVP Derrick Rose?

  8. QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Mar 14, 2016 -> 11:49 AM) Man I'd like to see that guys bank account. He's been the go to guy in the sports world forever it seems. http://www.therichest.com/celebnetworth/ce...rews-net-worth/
  9. The #3 hitter is the best hitter because he can keep the first inning going and avoid having the team go out 1-2-3. He also has a better chance of early RBIs because usually, the top two hitters have the highest OBP.
  10. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Mar 11, 2016 -> 04:20 AM) Tim Burton Confirms ‘Beetlejuice 2’ is a Go! "The film is a go and has been approved by the Warner Bros. team, we have talked with the cast members we wanted for the film and they are all on board, this includes both Winona and Michael. We have the script in hand everything is in place all we need to do now is get ready to start filming." No Jeffrey Jones or Glenn Shadix, though.
  11. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 10, 2016 -> 12:31 PM) http://screenrant.com/captain-america-civil-war-trailer-2/ can we just skip to May 6th please

  13. Give up Machado at 8th round value for Trout and lose my 1st rounder?
  14. 80-82 I can't see that much out of the present outfield, power-wise.
  15. QUOTE (LDF @ Mar 8, 2016 -> 11:03 AM) i know this is pipe-dream, i am doing this for discussion only. there are viable options available and i am saying that chi can support another team, esp in the western and sw suburbs. the scrubs of the northside has been easily able to support their team. esp in the tickets sales to the tune of 2.8 mil per since the sox WS yr. the sox, they could have done the same, if it wasn't for the mismanagement of the FO. the main point is the fans of baseball in the western, sw burbs can do it. esp if that team gets smart business people to run the club, unlike the south side team. now this season will tell the difference with their investment in the ball club. now add a bastelball expansion to that ball club and it can be done. It's not really feasible or logical to bring three baseball franchises into an already saturated market. There is no room for a third fandom. As it stands, you have 70% Cubs, 30% Sox. I really don't think that it would work out. The Sox make a profit, even though our fans don't show up for games. They must be doing something right in the business department.
  16. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Mar 7, 2016 -> 08:26 PM) Fleener is probably gone. He is their version of Shea McClellan it seems. I think that Fleener would be worth a low pick by the Bears. He was underused in Indy.
  17. QUOTE (flavum @ Mar 7, 2016 -> 04:47 PM) https://twitter.com/whitesox/status/706959152225116160 Can people quote/copy/paste Twitter link info in the thread? Not all of us have Twitter access at work.
  18. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Mar 7, 2016 -> 10:09 AM) Reminder that it snowed into April last year and maybe the year before... But...but...the Groundhog...

  22. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 1, 2016 -> 10:13 AM) The 6 titles in 8 years was able to attract Brent Barry, Ron Mercer, and Eddie Robinson. I thought that Mercer was going to be a good player as well.
