QUOTE (oldsox @ Nov 17, 2015 -> 08:18 AM) There is a great article on trading Cargo in Purplerow.com Unfortunately, I can't get the link to bring it here. Maybe one of you young guys can do it. http://www.purplerow.com/2015/11/16/974223...olorado-rockies

QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ Nov 16, 2015 -> 02:32 PM) Charlie Sheen has AIDS. HIV Magic Johnson has had HIV since 1992 and he's still alive.

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Nov 16, 2015 -> 11:27 AM) Miller's TD was the longest passing TD in franchise history (according to the telecast). QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Nov 16, 2015 -> 01:17 PM) I think they said "for a tight end" "Longest Pass From Scrimmage - Bo Farrington caught 98-yard pass at the Detroit Lions, 10/8/61." - Wikipedia http://www.pro-football-reference.com/play...ouchdowns/1961/ Farrington was a TE too.

I think that there is a huge caveat in trading for Colorado hitters. #1 The Coors Effect is still highly noticeable. #2 NL to AL hitters tend to struggle mightily in the transition.

Looks like Anonymous has declared war against ISIS (again.)

I don't think that Colorado would be willing to move Blackmon unless it was a huge trade.

QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Nov 16, 2015 -> 10:59 AM) Wasn't the David Williams OT kick return on Thanksgiving? QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 16, 2015 -> 11:24 AM) Yes it was. That is my earliest memory of a Bears game. You mean... this?
-
QUOTE (shipps @ Nov 16, 2015 -> 10:54 AM) Have the Bears ever in their history won on Thanksgiving? Nineteen-ninety three was the last time; versus Detroit.

Dickerson is damaged goods right now anyway. His plantar faciitis is far from gone. It could torment him for years.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 16, 2015 -> 09:33 AM) Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter 14m14 minutes ago Denver's Peyton Manning has torn plantar fascia in right foot, league sources tell ESPN. Manning was battling plantar fasciitis; worsened. Might as well shelf him for the year and use *gulp* Ostweiler.

I can see Ok St losing to Baylor next week. Unlikely, but it could happen. -
QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Nov 15, 2015 -> 08:15 PM) Imagine how stacked the Sox system would be if they traded Sale, Q, Abreu, Eaton, Rodon, etc. Stacked systems do not always equal stacked MLB rosters.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 13, 2015 -> 02:15 PM) Actually he is one of three writers hired to draft scripts. They are doing a thunderdome script choosing Is there a "little guy riding a mentally challenged guy" involved?

DC picks another winner!

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 13, 2015 -> 10:59 AM) DC hires another writer to draft a script for Aquaman, this time the writer from the epic modern day classic, Wrath of the Titans 25% Rotten Tomatoes, 37% Metacritic, 5.8/10 IMDB Wrath of the Titans?

QUOTE (greg775 @ Nov 12, 2015 -> 02:43 AM) I'd be all for trading 2-3 of our lefties and bringing Mark back. Or like I said make Danks a lefty reliever. Teams with four lefty starters DO NOT win pennants. Do you think about what you post before you post it, or do you just do it so you can giggle to yourself later? You're seriously talking about trading two or three of Sale, Quintana, Rodon, or Danks so the Sox can bring back a shadow of a starter that is Mark Buehrle? Was every single thing about 2005 THAT amazing to you that you feel that it needs to be re-lived every season afterward?

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Nov 12, 2015 -> 09:00 AM) Rumor is that it's the Padres, but we'll see The Padres and Braves seem to enjoy trying out each others' players.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 11, 2015 -> 10:32 AM) ND is going to fall out due to not having a conference title if all things line up and the uproar is going to be tremendous. Ok State won't make it either then, because the Big 12 doesn't have a title game anymore. -
A makeshift offensive line has been a consistent trend with the Bears in recent years. They can't seem to keep a line group healthy long enough to get some cohesion.

The Peanuts Movie is a great family film. Plenty of call-backs to the TV specials yet it felt totally new.

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 10, 2015 -> 08:44 AM) Playoff/Bowl Projections: Orange: Clemson vs Ohio State Cotton: Alabama vs Stanford Rose: Michigan State vs Utah Sugar: Oklahoma vs LSU Fiesta: Iowa vs Notre Dame Peach: Oklahoma St vs Houston Will ND stay in the top 12 if they get a second loss to Stanford? -
Matsuda would be interesting, but he'd want too much as a 32 year old and this team isn't ready to do anything with veteran guys.
