Hey thanks for the kind words. Yeah this is the 1st actual slump the Sox have been in all year and most people act like they want to jump off a building or something. This stuff happens. Atleast its August and not September they are slumping.

I heard the quotes lastnight after the game was over...they asked Paul if he thought they needed a bat and he said something to the effect of "He doesn't know if they need another bat but the guys aren't giving up on each other and they would rather go down swinging with the guys they currently have than worry about adding a bat and screwing the chemistry they have" Something a long those lines....

I have a question about Dmitri Young...since he can play 1B is his defense better than Paulies?? If so the Sox could use him at 1b and have Paulie DH. I don't have time here at work to check all the stats so any info would be good. Thanks.

Well it was nice being the best team in baseball for awhile...this like others have said is getting tough to watch right now. They have completely abandoned what got them where they are....

Orton very well may be a stud but he is way too raw right now to just step in and be expected to come up huge in the NFL. Grossman was also hyped like crazy and has yet been able to stay healthy long enough to ever prove it.

2 years in a row the Bears don't have a quality backup plan...that is completely sad for an NFL team.

Grossman = Man of glass....terrible for him once again.

Good thing Buehrle decided to show up tonight...sheesh. Hopefully the offense can stay alive today.
