Hot stove show tonight at 7:00 PM on ESPN 1000.

With his contract... the Sox would have to get the Yankmees to cover a lot of it. I wouldn't take him at his current rate straight up. -

IIRC at the start of the season Vazquez was dominate....then for some reason tailed off major. I don't know if its an injury or pressures of NY. I think he could be dominate here if he is healthy. JMO though. -

I kind of wonder if the Yanks would be interested in PK since all this BS with Giambi. Maybe a PK for Vazquez and cash thing can be worked out. -

Well unfortunately I think whoever get a player of Renteria's talents, they will have to over pay for him. -

Hell that would be a pretty damn good offseason if the Sox could get Renteria and Wright. I wouldn't be disappointed at all. Plus maybe find a bullpen arm or 2 once Non tenders come up....or a trade. -

I find it amazing that some people don't think bonds used some sort of enhancements. The circle is too close to him. His own personal trainer is being called out for this. You mean to tell me, Bond's own personal trainer gave all these other guys roids and such but Bonds didn't take any? Possible but very very unlikely.

NHLPA Requests meeting with NHL

I am not saying that as soon as they are found guilty, take them out back and shoot them. I am saying having a criminal on death row for 20 + years is ridiculous. I agree "our" system is still the best but it could be improved. Also as I stated, the criminal has appeals to work through but if they can't prove themselves innocent in a set amount of appeals they should be fast tracked. I also have to say I know it is easy for people to say they feel for the poor guy that commited the crime but if it were your daughter or wife or someone you cared about I would bet your tune would be much different. I'm not saying I'm just saying here. I think this will be a spot where we will agree to disagree.

It amazes me though that so many people resort to murder instead of dealing with a divorce. I know divorce suchs but all the damage that is done through murder is even worse.
-
Geez I went on a total tangent there lol. Anyway, Maybe they shouldn't said it due to upsetting Laci's family but he was correct in what he said. Just maybe he should have kept it to himself.
-
Yes the 1st degree was fitting in this case. I was actually surprised kind of because of the weak case and all though. He should have gotten 1st degree also for his unborn child but he is still going to serve life or maybe even get the DP for Laci so he will pay a heavy price anyway.

I don't think it was out of line. I think they should fry that bastard. The death penalty is way too slow moving in this country any way. A person sits on death row forever b4 they ever get around to executing them. A person should only get a limit of 3 appeals and then its check out time. I know the moralists won't agree because what about the criminals?? what about them?? Screw them, when they committed a crime like this and were found guilty and had their appeals its too bad. I think if some criminals seen they are serious with this punishment they may think twice b4 committing a serious crime like this... or not...but they will pay for it either way.

Beck those voices in your head messing with ya?? lol

Tigers make pitch to Pavano By Jason Beck / MLB.com Carl Pavano emerged as an All-Star in 2004 by going 18-8 with a 3.00 ERA for the Marlins. (Ron Schwane/AP) DETROIT -- The Tigers, once regarded in the backdrop of the free-agent market, might be first in line in more than just the order of visits for Carl Pavano. Detroit is believed to have offered a four-year contract to the free-agent starter, who will arrive in the city Thursday night as part of his tour of American League cities over the next week. Pavano's agent, Scott Shapiro, neither confirmed nor denied that an offer was made. However, he made both the Tigers' aggressiveness and Pavano's patience pretty clear while indicating they're nowhere close to a deal. "Detroit has stated [its] definite, significant interest in Carl," Shapiro said. "I've made my point that we're going to let the market mature. It's basic market economics. Carl is one of the best pitchers on the market." While the market matures, Pavano will get to know the American League. After touring Comerica Park and meeting with Tigers officials on Friday, Pavano and Shapiro will head to New York and meet with the Yankees. From there, they'll go to Baltimore, then Seattle, and finally to Anaheim just ahead of baseball's Winter Meetings next weekend. It's at that point, Shapiro said, that they'll start weighing offers. "Nothing's going to happen until we gather enough information and let Carl process that information to make a decision," Shapiro said. Pavano has already visited the defending world champion Boston Red Sox, the organization that drafted him in 1994. Add in five National League teams, and interest in Pavano comes from a dozen teams. Pavano will turn 29 next month. He owns a 57-58 career record between Montreal and Florida. Pavano emerged as an All-Star in 2004 by going 18-8 with a 3.00 ERA for the Marlins, who could still have a chance at re-signing him.

I think SVU is the best of them now. Mariska Hargitay is very good looking. Did anyone know her mother was Jayne Mansfield?? IIRC.
