I think Davis could turn into a decent catcher. He is good defensively but needs a lot of work on the offense. He is a good back up for now.

The Sox should split time with Burke and Davis and see how it all shakes out. I think Alomar is pretty much baked.

He is not worth any of the deals that have been stated in a trade for him. Overpaying major for him me thinks.

You can count on BorASS asking insane amount of money for Beltran. I would highly doubt the Sox would or could resign him next season. He would be the only impact player the Sox have a chance to get that would truely help this year though.

Myself one of the only bats out there I can see that would help right away would be Beltran. Put him in CF and move Rowand to RF. Pay whatever price you have to. Beltran would make all the difference offensively and defensively for this team. JMO

Anyone else sick of these politicians just telling people what they think they want to hear. What difference does anyone think Kerry will really make?? Is he going to cut taxes? Not likely. Is he going to lower gas prices... I would highly doubt it. So what exactly is he going to do for anyone...besides the norm of cutting breaks for the rich who support his campaign?? Maybe I am a bit too cynical for my own good but hell its always the same no matter who gets into office.

Well Zambrano has had control probs but Loaiza hasn't exactly been the master of control lately either.

I would take Victor Zambrano over Loaiza anyday. Too bad the Sox couldn't find a way to nab him.

Swing the deal. The Sox need the help in the OF as well as his offense. It will stop that crazy combo of Perez/Gload/Borchard in RF and I am all for that!!!

I don't back stab him... I never back Jose to begin with. I always thought he is an error waiting to happen. Its great once every month he comes up with a big homer but other than that.

That doesn't make a lot of sense... its not like Benson is Randy Johnson or anything.

Knowing KW, he won't just get nothing out of this deal. Maybe he is working his magic. I still don't think Benson would be that big of a deal in Minny anyway but why let them improve even a little.
