Thats the thing... the Sox only need to get another starter and then Schoney will solidify the bullpen as long as he doesn't b**** and cry about it. Then Catalanato would help as well.

I will agree that it does help the Twins because Loshe has pitched like s*** for them and if Benson can pitch decent it will make the Twins better. However I think the Sox are good enough to take the Twins esp. it doesn't hurt with the Twins upcoming schedule. Benson will get plenty of oppurtunities to prove if he is good or not in the next few weeks.

Throw out whatever stats you like but Benson still has to prove he can beat the Yanks and Red Sox... he does that then I will begin to worry about his wing in Cooperstown, but until then I wouldn't be too concerned.

This is suppose to make people nervous?? Benson is barely a decent pitcher in the NL... how do you think he will do against an AL lineup... like ohh say the Yanks or the Red Sox???

The thing KW said not too long ago is he is looking at pitching. I like that idea. As the saying goes "Good pitching usually beats good hitting". I would like KW to get another starter and some bullpen help. Being able to get those is a whole different story of course.

I would like Berard stay as well... put him and Cullimore together and you have a good D pairing IMO. You have an aggressive Dman who can score with a stay at home DMan.

I think Robidas is a decent Dman... but he is too small and gets beat badly by bigger guys.

I think the Sox are in dire need of a starter who can throw some serious heat. They have way too many soft tossers/control pitchers in the starting rotation. They need someone who can intimidate hitter with a high heater and have decent control would be a bonus.

I am very glad Karpotsev is finally gone. The best moves the Hawks have done recently in getting rid of Karpotsev and Krispy Kream Boris Smirnov. Those two were useless. However, Stevie Mac and Arnie are said to be not very much liked by Sutter. Sutter and Arnie almost came to blows last year. Hopefully both will still play with the Hawks because I like them both and the Hawks need them as well.

I know Mac was hurt last season but even when he was healthy it just seemed like Sutter esp. didn't care much for him. Same as Arnason. I would be surprised if he is still around the Hawks as well.

I think Mac is one of the best Dmen the Hacks have but for some reason it seems they don't like him and I wouldn't be surprised to see them dump him.

I like Vandermeer. Glad he resigned with the Hawks.

Big deal.. Benson. Come on when people were talking about getting him for the Sox most people were like hell no. He isn't that good and will be worse in the AL. Not to mention Benson is injury prone.

Well you can't expect Ozzie to come out on the TV or papers and say "We are going to get Torii Hunter". If he did his fine and suspension would be assured then when it did happen. I think this will make some of the Twins hitters a bit nervous as well. Wondering who is going to get hit and when it will happen.

Sad thing is if Carlos in the 1st and Burke in the 3rd I believe could have hit the f***ing ball in the outfield for a sacrafice, this game could be easily 4 - 3 and maybe more who knows. Buehrle didn't do himself any favors either though.
