I agree, this new attitude and aggressiveness is very very good. I think the Sox will surprise a lot of people if they keep playing this way all year.

Myself, I would much rather trade away a prospect than trading Mags. Mags is a proven baller. He has all the tools to make this team something special. Who even knows if any of these prospects will even be able to cut it in the bigs.

I would bet with Reed, Sweeney, Borchard, and Anderson waiting, the Sox will ship Mags for pitching . Then HOPEFULLY spend the money on a solid infielder or relief pitcher.

I think KW should be looking for a proven 2 baseman who can HIT and play Defense and another solid starting pitcher. I think those 2 moves could give the edge to the Sox without question.

Funny thing is, I believe the Sox have the better of the starting staffs in this division, maybe not in the bullpen but also the offense can pretty much stand up to any team. I still think its the Sox division to win if they can stay "Together".

Also not to mention this is Schoney's first start in how many years?? You would have to expect him to be a bit shaky.

He struggled in the first 2 innings sure. At least he didn't flip out and lose his cool and then really get rocked. He had the bases loaded at least 2 times and only gave up 2 runs from that and one solo shot. I wouldn't say that is terrible at all. IMO. Also isn't the defense out there to back up the pitcher if he does make some mistakes and pick him up when possible??? I believe so.

Seems Schoney may be finding a bit of a stride here. Hopefully he can work it out. He has gotten very lucky that the Yanks haven't found more runs from earlier innings.

Its good to see these guys are for real about getting along and not just playing it up to the media and fans. Looks more like Ozzie grabbed Franks ass by the look on his face.

The thing that sucks worse than the loss is the fact we had to wait 2 days for the Sox to play again to be able to get rid of this bad loss. Sheesh first game of the season then take the next day off...how stupid is that?

At least the offense was there. Last year they were sleeping. Marte was floating pitches up there. Oz should have yanked him once he gave up the first homer. Oz screwed this game plain and simple. You had to know it would happen with his inexperience and all. It will start over again Weds. Lets hope the Sox can win this next one.

Not only are they whiney babies, but the think every player to ever were the cubbie blue is the greatest player to ever grace a ball field. I always ask though, and how have to work out for them? As for the Spos, I feel really bad for their fans. They have been screwed with so much...esp of late. I thought for sure they were going to contract the Spos.
