Tuesday against KC if he is ok.
-
Yeah I was just looking at that. 5+ ERA, but what's Schoney's?? Plus you can never have too many young lefties.
-
I am wondering why the Sox didn't try to trade of Jeriome Robertson. Houston just traded him to Cleveland for Luke Scott and Willy Taveras. Now Robertson is in his second season but his rookie year he went 15 - 9 with Houston. Now I bet he would be a much better choice than Wright or Schoney in the starting rotation. Plus you know he wouldn't have taken much to get him...which JR would have loved. Just wondering aloud really. Just amazes me that a 15 game winner that is a young lefty on top of it all gets past KW.

Sacks??? Aren't those overrated?? How stupid was Greg Blache?? I couldn't believe he said that last year.
-
According to the Score, the Bears have signed Ruben Brown to a 3 year deal.
-
As long as he isn't wearing a Sox jersey, I couldn't careless where that bozo ends up.

Must be alot of Tiger fans hitting the vote ALOT.... No way the Tigers win the AL Central.
-
Damn figures I forgot the S in Hudson....
-
I think Zito, Mulder and Hudson are head and shoulders above the rest.
-
Mostly the Sox have to pound on the guys in their own divison mostly when they do play them. I believe if the Sox can beat the Royals and Twins when they meet, the Sox will be ok. Not to mention if the Sox can beat those ever dangerous Tigers and Indians.
-
Not to mention Jimenez couldn't run the bases to save his friggin life.
-
Lets just hope that translates to the real season and the Sox will be in business big time....
-
Well the only starters I can think of off hand thats been mentioned in trades for Mags that I would want and I think could help this team, would be Washburn, O. Perez or maybe Kaz Ishii. Anyone I miss??

Very good point... whatever was I thinking?? LoL -
4th and 5th worry me now. I hope Schoney and Wright get it together but I think they may be very huge holes. The pen worries me now with Koch struggling and Takatsu as well till most recently. Also with Wunsch having the "Dead arm".

I signed...it would be a same to lose a team. -
Well one thing Boston has that the Sox could use is Scott Williamson. We obviously need some bullpen help and he would be big time help. I would hate to see Mags go anywhere.

Why waste all that money on a wedding??? That is insane. Use that 10 Grand as a downpayment on a house, if you're going to spend it. Sheesh.
-
Is it just me or does it seem like this game is taking forever??

Besides the Sox who is your favorite MLB team

Beside the White Sox. I root for Seattle and Oakland. Seattle due to Ichiro and Edgar. Oakland due to Zito and Mulder....those guys are awesome...even better than Prior and Wood. IMO. -
All I seen on him is he is battling the stomach virus. He should be fine. From Rototimes Mar. 26 Mike MacDougal threw off a mound for five minutes on Thursday for the first time in 12 days as he continues to recover from a stomach virus, according to the Kansas City Star. He remains several days away from game action. Tony Pena indicated that MacDougal needs to pitch "at least three times" in game situations before returning to the closer's role.

Wow that ever powerful Yankee team loses a game?? Didn't Tampa realize they weren't suppose to beat the Yanks??? Hell couldn't have happened to a better team in my books hehe.

TUCSON, Ariz. -- White Sox pitching coach Don Cooper says left-hander Scott Schoeneweis is not in danger of being dropped from the rotation. "I don't think anybody's thinking that," Cooper said. "What are we going to do, pull the plug and invent a fifth starter? Nobody else is stretched out right now. He's starting." Schoeneweis has struggled this spring. In five starts he has an ERA of 9.31 and has given up 32 hits in 191/3 innings. After Schoeneweis failed to get out of the fourth inning Sunday, general manager Ken Williams said it was time to see some results. Schoeneweis will make his last start of the spring Friday against Milwaukee. "I hope he does well Friday so I have more [confidence] in him," manager Ozzie Guillen said. Schoeneweis has been working on adding pitches to his repertoire, specifically a cut fastball and a changeup. Cooper is satisfied with the cut fastball and said the changeup may just be a "show-me" pitch that he needs to keep low in the strike zone. "He's really thinking too much, and he's trying to figure out where his pitches can be fit in and how they can be fit in," Cooper said. Cooper said he doesn't want to put a timetable on when Schoeneweis has to have it all together. "That's like sending a guy to his death sentence," Cooper said. "You're going to be executed on this date, and I'm not going to approach it that way." Thomas hurting Designated hitter Frank Thomas was scratched from the lineup again Monday with a sore right shoulder. Thomas said the injury isn't serious, but he won't make the trips Tuesday or Wednesday when the Sox play the Giants and Padres. Thomas expects to be back in the lineup Thursday when the Sox play host to Colorado. Thomas said he injured the shoulder trying to throw over the top instead of his normal sidearm. Also … The Sox trimmed their roster to 28 with five cuts Monday. Outfielder Joe Borchard, catcher Michael Rivera and left-handed pitcher David Sanders were optioned to Triple-A Charlotte, and infielder Kelly Dransfeldt and outfielder Jeremy Reed were reassigned to minor-league camp. … Outfielder Ryan Sweeney, who has been one of the bright spots this spring, will begin the season at Class-A Winston-Salem along with outfielder Brian Anderson. Both were drafted last year. Sweeney hit .367 in 30 at-bats. … Timo Perez saw his first action for the Sox as a designated hitter Monday. Perez spent four seasons playing for Hiroshima in Japan and faced Sox reliever Shingo Takatsu. "He's a good pitcher, good, nasty stuff," Perez said. "I think he'll be a good pitcher here." … Jon Garland pitched in a Triple-A game Monday and went seven innings, yielding six hits, one run and two walks with seven strikeouts.

I think Cotts should have been getting more innings just to have him stretched out. Either way the Sox have to use Cotts smart and not let him waste away in the pen. If he isn't getting work in the bigs, he needs to go back to the minors just to get him more innings.

Johnson is a good recieving Full Back and very good special teams player. This isn't a huge deal but it will help, I believe.
