  1. Looks like Campos really got hammered though... DOHHHH
  2. Sounds like Anderson had a huge game. Schoney didn't do that bad.
  3. White Sox top Angels, 12-9 By Scott Merkin / MLB.com TUCSON, Ariz. -- Michael Rivera delivered a two-out, bases clearing double in the bottom of the eighth inning, giving the White Sox a 12-9 victory over Anaheim in Cactus League play Friday at Tucson Electric Park. The teams combined for a total of 35 hits. The reserve catcher pinch-hit for minor-leaguer Ricardo Nanita, as manager Ozzie Guillen tried to break the team’s four-game losing streak. The winning rally started after the first two batters of the inning were retired easily. Anaheim rallied from an 8-1 deficit after four, scoring five in the fifth off of White Sox reliever Francisco Campos, making his first appearance this spring against Major-League competition. Robb Quinlan and former White Sox catcher Josh Paul each drove home one run, and Chone Figgins tripled in two. Casey Kotchman doubled home the go-ahead run in the top of the eighth inning off Mike Jackson, but the lead was short-lived. The White Sox pounded out 11 hits in the first three innings and hit for the cycle as a team. Frank Thomas, Carlos Lee and Brian Anderson had two hits apiece during the uprising, while Juan Uribe added his first home run of the spring. The White Sox scored two in the first and two in the second off Angels’ starter Jarrod Washburn, who allowed four runs on six hits during his 40-pitch effort. Thomas and Lee each delivered RBI-doubles in the first, with Jose Valentin scoring the first run after tripling off Figgins’ glove in center. A Valentin ground out and another Thomas double scored the second-inning runs. Joe Crede singled home a run off of reliever Chris Bootcheck, and Anderson doubled home two with a shot to left-center. Uribe completed the scoring with a blast to left. Scott Schoeneweis worked four innings for the White Sox, allowing two runs on four hits, while striking out seven. Jose Molina homered and Kotchman added a run-scoring single

  6. Have you noticed once they take out the main guys and bring in all the lower level ball players we instantly blow any lead???
  7. I think Mac Jurko and Harry have been there all week or atleast most of it.
  8. This sucks AM 1000 hasn't carried the last few games.
  9. MLB.com shows it as 4 - 1 Sox...no details though.
  10. Did you hear him this morning?? He was saying how Sox fans are totally obsessed with the Cubs and their fans....like Cub Fans are Obsessed with the Sox. He is such a dick head. If it were the Sox winning and the Cubs losing he would be rah rah Sox.
  11. I have a feeling the way Ozzie is. I am sure he ranted in front of his team. If not it totally goes against everything he has said thus far.
  12. I was listening to the radio and they played this commercial. Autobarn car dealership. The funny part was the British guy talking was talking a shot at Wirtz. He said " If I ran my business like the owner of Chicago's hockey team. I would raise prices, fire my best 2 salesmen, lock the water closet and charge to use it, and have my secretary answer the phones rudely. I was cracking up. Its about time people start nailing Wirtz.
  13. Diaz has also been pretty good so far me thinks. Anyone have the #'s on Diaz and Campos handy??
  14. I still think they need a coach who can work with these younger players. I think Sutter is a good coach but not with younerg players. He has never been good with the younger guys no matter what team he coached. They need someone like Yawney who can coach them.
  15. I wouldn't mind seeing Campos get a spot wether it be in the pen or starting. I think he could be very good for the Sox.
  16. One of the best on liners I heard from him was when one of the Hawks this year dumped the puck in Foley says " He got all of that dump in" Man he kills me.
  17. Thats what I was wondering... how long will it take b4 they start ignoring him and doing what they want. If they start that they are dead.
  18. They are saying NY Jets are going to sign him due to how close Edwards and Lynch are. I say GOOD. Have him.
  19. Its been the best news Hawk fans have had in forever. This is been a long suffering. Only time Hawk fans will celebrate as hard is when Wirtz either sells the team or finally drops dead.
  20. Actually the cure to all this is if Wirtz is gone. He is the main reason for all the problems. Hopefully Peter will be better. Who knows though he is a Wirtz though.
  21. I think every Hawks fan was saying that very same thing about Karpo all year. I agree Good Riddance!!!
  22. Well its the same ol story... When he got SF to the World Series his pitchers were toast. He runs them into the ground. I still don't see why people think Dusty is such a "Great Manager". I think he gets out managed a lot.
