Regardless how many he gets, it has to get much better than last year. My official
name for him last year was "The Human Warning Track" because every time he pitched, that is where the ball wound up.....or even farther!!

This thread seems to be slipping down, and I can't believe that nobody has mentioned that Northwestern has completed the SWEEP of Iowa with a 51-49 win. The Cats are 4th place in the Big Ten at 8-7!
i hope the cats make some noise in the big ten tourney.
speaking of the big ten tourney, it should be a pretty good one with msu, illinois, wisconson and northwestern playing pretty nicely lately.

as much as i would like to, i wouldnt go as far as taking our lineup over the yankees lineup any day. The yankees are getting ridiculous and im just so sick of it.

I think it is pretty easy to turn on someone that you never liked to begin with. He never was the nicest of guys or the easiest of guys to get along with.
Ya bonds isnt exactly mr nice guy and he seems like he's only out for personal gain. It wouldnt surprise me one bit if bonds took steroids and Van Slyke makes some good points to back up his reasoning.

ya and i dont think they will be much more succesfull unless they draft a solid lineman in the second round or pick up a lineman via free agency. i think this line has potential but i dont forsee them as being VERY good like you said.

My dad actually canceled our subscription to the Trib and switched to the Sun-Times several times. After a while he always switched back.
Now that I live in NJ I get the Yankee bias, but the Times does a nice job of reporting both. (Even the Times will acknowledge that winning 26 titles has earned the yanks a little more room in the paper than the lowly mets)
Ya but how many more series have the cubs won then the sox?

i agree i think the contract we offered the freak was a more then what he's worth
also i think da bears offensive line will be just like last year but i hope coloumbo makes a nice return, the kid has lots of potential.

thats just the worst luck possible. i remember we had on of the best records in baseball that year and we probably wouldve done a lot of damage in the postseason.

but duke is a private school and msu is a public university so thats why there enrollments are so different, but i see what your saying.
