Fat Obnoxious Fiance kills me becasue Steve will start acting all nice again and then right when he needs to be on his best behavior he starts being crazy. It kills me. I also thought it was pretty funny how he just randomly broke the vase in the bathroom on the first show.

I agree 100% with this article. While Rosenthal's facts may be inaccurate, the premise of the article is right on target.
I challenge any fellow sox fan to convince me that this team is committed to winning.
Sadly, I think the worse thing to happen in the past two years is for mid level payroll teams to win the title.
Reinsdorf now seems more concerned with pulling a one year hitch ala the Marlins and Angels than seriously acting like he wants the sox to contend annualy.
Agreed. I think its every teams goal to win a championship but the sox just wont make the right moves or spend the money to do it. They can say its there goal but will it ever be met?

That is already happening. When I went to see the Wolves last December I talked to a bunch of "blackhawk refugees" and they talked about a lot of their Friends switching over to being Wolves fans due to the miserable performance of the Slackhawks.
I dont blame them, the Hawks are emabarassing.

I think the wolves could compete with the Hawks here in the Chicago market but i dont know if they would have a chance competing with the rest of the NHL.

the yanks dont really have any quality starters besides Mike Mussina, so they better score 6 runs a game

i would also take lowe and nixon. Nixon isnt better the Maggs but he can still hit and as for lowe he went 17-7 last year and would be a solid addition to our shaky pitching staff.

ya i hate it how when the sox sign a free agent they get a paragraph of space in the sports section if there lucky, then when the cubs sign a new guy they have half the sports section focused on it.
