Willie Harris is a badass, theres no need to say we dont need him.. Look at hows he doin so far
he came into tonights game at .273 and hes already got a walk and a hit.. Not to mention hes almost impossible to throw out on the base paths.. 5 SB 0 CS
im with you on this one. i think we should give willie his chance, cuz hes gotta be up there with the fastest of them in the league.
-
willie with a solid pick bad throw but nice backup by alomar

A person forgot in this whole situation is Jason Grili. How's he doing right now?
Player W L ERA G CG SHO SV IP H R ER HR BB SO
Jason Grilli 1 0 1.5 1 0 0 0 6 3 1 1 0 1 8
these are his stats according to the official white sox site. i dk if they are updated reguarly though.

The Bears also have the whole city behind them, as the Sox...well you know...
hey if i wasn't at school everyday and i could drive i would go to as many games as possible. thats my problem, but i think if we continue to play like this come summer the stadium will be filled nicely every night.
-
Well, assuming the Herald's attendance numbers are correct and I know my math is a spot on match, it looks as though the Sox average 12,683 fans a game that know what the hell is going on.
yep and the whole stadium up north is filled w/ people who came to party it up instead of watch a baseball game.

we need to stop helpin this damn pitcher
-
I'd rather see maggs here next year then colon.
-
I never heard anyone close to the players describe Colon as "a team player" and "a joy in the clubhouse."
sounds like a certain sosa from up north.

i love how mariotti says that hes neither a cubs fan or a sox fan but he rips the sox in every possible way and finds all the positives in the cubs. this guy is absolutely retarted.
Also frank has done way more then mark prior has at this point so ozzie deserves to make comments like that. Frank is an established veteran who has a good shot at being in the hall someday yet Kotex Boy treats him like crap and acts as if prior is the next god, before he has really established himself.
-
You better hope so or you might need a new sig pretty soon
never thought of that one. lets hope willie pans out and does willieharris1 and myself well.
-
i love the way hawk just ripped right back at kotex boy. Hawk definetly put it best, Marriotti is a fraud. Props to hawkaroo

I dont think willies job is in jeopardy just yet, i think they are willing to give him some more time before he's benched.

I think Tejada, like Renteria and Guzman, is overrated defensively; home scorers treat them like Gold Glovers, so whenever they boot the ball in the hole, it's rarely scored as an error.
Uribe looks and hits and fields like Berroa -- hence the nickname. But if he ends up being the kinda hitter Tejada, who has a very live bat, then I'll be ecstatic.
Boy, did Rockies drop the ball on this one...
yep they did because babyberroa can rake baby
-
To me Uribe is almost like Tejada. He's nowhere near that level yet, but he's got a similar look, both in the field and at the plate.
I think Uribe will get plenty of time when he's back, playing for Jose, Willie and Crede. Right now I want Willie playing though. I'm glad him and Juan will get a lot of playing time.
i like juan at third too. he really played nice in that game against the d-rays in tampa
