i just loved the guy because he was such a work horse. he would start out the game throwing good but by the end of the game hes throwing harder. this guy is definetly a big game guy.

i think this will be an interesting series for our pitchers. hopefully guys like wright and scho can keep us in the ballgame. also its good we get them out of the way early in the season.

good job by the sox. they definetly needed this one cuz goin into new york after being swept probably wouldnt have been nice.
anyways i didnt see the game but it sounds like koch had everyone on the edge of there seats with there stomachs in the throats, but all that matters is that he got the job done.

I would take that "overrated" any day of the week in our rotation. Don't know why you think he is overrated.
i dont think pettite is overated at all. this guy is just phenomenal in the postseason.

Thank god I have a baseball game tom. so I can see the sox Wed. But man the torture I'm going to hear from cub fans is gonna be crazy..
ya i kills me that the sox have an off day tomorrow because i got nothing to do all week besides going to school which gives me more time to think about it. ahh cant wait till wednesday.

If given the opportunity Koch will blow game after game, just like last year. Marte??? I don't know what happened to him. I think if the Sox had a ten run lead, they would have blown it.
i think marte just needs to come in at the start of the 9th not in the middle of the ninth.
also i dont think koch belonged in the ninth at all.

Take it easy people... sheesh.... its just one game. Yes, it sucks major ass the bull pen blew it. If you think this will be the only time this year, I'm sorry to tell you it won't be. At least the offense was there. Last year they were sleeping. Marte was floating pitches up there. Oz should have yanked him once he gave up the first homer. Oz screwed this game plain and simple. You had to know it would happen with his inexperience and all.
It will start over again Weds. Lets hope the Sox can win this next one. i think you can blame any one you want and keep making exuses but its just one loss. its baseball you dont win every game...lets just hope the sox dont dwell on this one for awhile.
