Doesn't Adams have that nerve condition that causes numbness in his arm/shoulder. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a great reliever, but isn't he damaged goods?
-
QUOTE (Baron @ Sep 5, 2012 -> 02:14 AM) What exactly is you're prize?
-
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 5, 2012 -> 02:14 AM) That's exactly it, he doesn't have the stuff to excel if he doesn't have good command. His command has gone to hell after his amazing start. Yet he gets out of the inning clean and easy with even an average defense behind him.
-
QUOTE (Baron @ Sep 5, 2012 -> 02:10 AM) I watched the inning. I was right. I'm fairly confident you don't know what the hell you just watched. I know I watched a rookie who pitches to contact with shoddy command get backed up by little league defense
-
QUOTE (Baron @ Sep 5, 2012 -> 02:06 AM) What I said was correct so....I have no idea what your trying to argue with me about. Again, watching that inning, how do you glean being right in all that

QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 5, 2012 -> 02:03 AM) If Youk grabs that DP ball, this inning would have been over 10 minutes ago. To me, De Aza's was even worse. It wouldn't have taken much for him to make that play, it barely bounced in front of him, he had to move his cleat for it not to hit off of him. I don't know if it's just a bad read or laziness but it was unacceptable.

QUOTE (Baron @ Sep 5, 2012 -> 02:02 AM) Where did I say Quintana was awful? Oh thats right I never said that. I didn't say you said it, somebody did say it on here though. You just bragged about how right you are about things going wrong for your team. Great job! When a guy gets 1 out of the 6 outs he recorded, it isn't his fault.
-
QUOTE (Baron @ Sep 5, 2012 -> 01:58 AM) No I didnt watch it. I just dont understand how people watch innings like this and then mutter things like Quintnana is awful. He's made pitches to get outs. 2 DP balls and two other outs, yet only got one of them because of horrible defense. Does De Aza realize its a September pennant race? Catch the damn ball!
-
QUOTE (Baron @ Sep 5, 2012 -> 01:52 AM) Hey what happened to those people who told me I was nuts for thinking Q would start getting shelled later in the season? Did you watch the inning? How in the hell De Aza didn't catch that ball for the first out is beyond me. It practically bounced off his cleats, then youk, then Ramirez. He potentially recorded 6 outs in that inning

QUOTE (Caesar @ Aug 19, 2012 -> 08:32 PM) So, if they lose the rest of their games, you won't have a problem with it? You rline of thinking is so dumb. They were predicted to be in 4th or last place so even though they are in first, it's ok if they lose to a horses*** team. Yeah, that makes alot of sense. That's a very short-sighted, immature way of thinking. -

QUOTE (Caesar @ Aug 19, 2012 -> 08:26 PM) You aren't understanding me. Sure those games hurt, but the competition was better. We are playing a s*** team, who we need to beat, plus they are in our division. I'm pretty sure even the players would be saying what I am and KW. Its common sense. Why would our division record matter against a team that we're not contending against? -

QUOTE (Caesar @ Aug 19, 2012 -> 08:24 PM) It matters because we are playing a s*** team who we should be owning, while the Tigers are playing a good team. We should be building up out lead, and we aren't. That s*** is gonna come back to haunt us. Just like it did in the past with the Twins. You honestly don't think every team in baseball has one team that they just can;t beat for some odd reason even though the records say they should? -

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 19, 2012 -> 08:24 PM) Everyone complaining just missed one big pair of balls on Jose. This. But Caesar says that Quintana will pitch like s*** for the rest of the year so he prob must have just assumed those runs crossed the plate. -

QUOTE (Caesar @ Aug 19, 2012 -> 08:21 PM) Different situation, they are playing a good ballclub. Just face it, the Sox are playing like s*** and these games will come back to haunt them. How does that matter? They're still losing -

We haven't beaten them all year. The good thing about this team is that they are able to rebound. (See last Tigers series) -
