  1. Oh, i thought it was .268, that must ahve been Uribe. Either way, i think Willie can be productive for us.
  2. I think radke is a safer option then Pedro. Simply because Pedro will eb a bigger investment.
  3. Omar will be brought in to hustle, play small ball, and defense, nothing else. Thats hat we would need him for.
  4. Yeah they have to keep Zambrano and Wood in the rotation.
  5. 80 Million seems like a reach. i would say about 65-70 Million next season. Damn you Reinsdorf!
  6. I respect what the twins did this season. There a great team and they did it the right way. You have to respect that.
  7. Did you see furcal's arm. literally, he has a laser.
  8. I didn't like burns, i thought he was average to good.
  9. Joe Buck Duck Goose is easily the most annoying; but McCarver is up there with em'
  10. I really like the idea of having a solid shortstop and a good 2 hole hitter
  11. Odalis Perez showed his true colors in the playoffs; now everyone knows what type of pitcher he is.
  12. yeah, it was the most logical decision to make,
  13. How did Willie have a bad season? he hit .268, seeinga s last year he couldn't even make contact, i think thats pretty good.
  14. I think thats a pretty accurate assessment of the whole situation.
  15. I like Steve Kline from St. Louis, he's a free agent, and could be a good lefty out of the pen. I also would like hoffman next season.
  16. I think Danny Kolb could be a good closer for this team
  17. It looks as if our scouts will have to find some hidden gems who will come cheap.
  18. Ah, I didn't put much thought into it; it was just something that popped into my head as I was writing. I did read in the paper though, that the Cubs were considering signing Clement back, and either putting Wood or Zambrano as the closer. This can't be true though.
  19. Its gonna take Ozzie taking him under his wing again. Coming in early to ST and staying late. He just has to keep working at it. Obviously Ozzie saw something in him to pay so much attention to him. Eventually it will all come together for Willie, I have confidence in him. I think though, the only way we're going to be successful is by having Willie in the leadoff spot. He is capable of doing too much, it just has to click for him.
  20. What do you think of the Cub deal? Creative or not practicle
  21. I would still have to put Willie in the leadoff spot because of his speed and the fact that he started to show some plate discipline. If he falters though, I wouldn't hesitate to go with Rowand. He hit well there.
  22. J.D. Drew is a free agent, itf thats what your implying. I don't know, maybe your tlaking about the deal that sent Drew to Atlanta. Anyway, I was tlaking about someone like a Pineiro. What about a Lee, Garland, and maybe Sweeney for Carlos Zambrano and Corey Patterson, and Sergio Mitre. tell me what you think of that one. i would do it. I think B. Anderson is better then Sweeney.
  23. I would absolutely die if we were able to sign Omar, I don't thnk it's that big of a risk. At your most important position in the infield, we would have one of (if not) the best fielder in the game. Yeah, he's lost some range, but you don't see him make silly errors like Valentin. He could be great in the 2 hole and make some solid contact. He could also help Uribe and Harris. Omar is a perfect fit for the White Sox. I would have Willie and Uribe split time at 2nd if Omar was here. If one totally outplayes the other, then that one should get the job. But right now, I think they're both equal.
