i trust garland more than contrares... i dont know why... plus i still feel garland has an upside - he's still young - whereas contrares is already what, 33 and el duque is a million... i mean thats not a whole lot of insurance long term...
he pitched great, i for one liked the quote, shows he's not THINKING TOO HARD which was his BIGGEST problem the last few years. I'm a big Jon Garland backer and I always will be. Props to ya Jon!

Ha, so you'd rather you have experimenting later in the season when the pressure is more intense. Some of you will find anything you can to blame a loss on Ozzie.
props.
although we've got all of our bench playing right now... hopefully we can rally but i'd much rather have your pods/everett/gooch out there right now but, nothing ya can really do w/ injuries... im not uber confident tonight - now prove me wrong.
if girls didnt have groins they'd have issues walking - its just the leg muscle up by the crotchular area... i've never hurt it too badly, but i have pulled it and no - it's not fun.

Ya, we were 3rd in the league last year in runs scored, that didn't get us very far.
i know, but i'm just saying to not get too cocky... its still very early
still worried about this team... 5 wins 2 losses
BUT
we scored 27 while giving up 26 runs... thats cutting it pretty close... we need to get this offense moving if we're going to keep up with Detroit and Cleveland
whats interesting is he has a point... i just looked at the runs each team has scored so far...
Twins are LAST and we're 3rd to LAST... Guess who's first in the AL?
Detroit... who knows guys... anything is still possible

Anyone else get the feeling that there aren't gonna be a heck of a lot more runs tonight?
i dont know yet, i watched the pedro v smotlz game today and it was a deadlock till smoltz gave up a beltran homer - from there the next four batters were HR 2B HR HR so... we'll see.
