    im going to college

    QUOTE(whitesoxmurph @ Apr 2, 2005 -> 02:59 PM) Reddy - I was just curious to see if you considered any of the schools without all the prerequisites, such as Julliard (NYC), ACT (San Francisco) or the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (NYC & LA). i really didnt want to get a BFA which all of those offer because i think that you need to have a broader frame of reference to be an actor that a BFA doesnt give you. Plus I didnt want to be in such a cut throat environment while we're all still learning.

    im going to college

    QUOTE(BobDylan @ Apr 1, 2005 -> 02:53 AM) Do you know how the Loyola theatre program compares with Columbia's? im not too sure, i have heard that columbia has a good program as well but i havent done a whole lot of research into it. I do know that columbia, as well as loyola, is a BA in theatre as opposed to DePauls BFA which im not a huge fan of. QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Apr 1, 2005 -> 01:08 AM) Just curious, was/is Northwestern an option for you? Their theatre school is pretty damn good. Just to note, I'm not trying to be an ass if it isn't (I tried to go to NU for journalism which didn't work out, ended up at the U of I ), just saying that would be an awesome opportunity. Well I did apply there and got rejected. lol but honestly it probably wasnt the best place for me anyway. NU is really good for theatre but in my opinion i feel like they ride mostly on reputation... and since they have this reputation they dont really have to have as good a program ya know what im saying? Also there's just this attitude of, 'i'm going to northwestern i'm better than you' up there... no offense meant to anyone that goes to NU thats just my impression of the theatre department. so thats my reasoning there. for what its worth.

    im going to college

    QUOTE(TheBigHurt35 @ Mar 31, 2005 -> 08:55 PM) You live in one of the best college towns in America, yet you want to go to Loyola??? (UI grad, class of '97) cuz i wanna be an actor, and the program at iowa sucks for undergrads. plus being in chitown will give me a leg up and more immersion in professional theatre. Iowa just cant compare to Chicago for the things I want to do.
  8. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Mar 31, 2005 -> 08:37 PM) Umm...Hello. that is one hellaz pointy chin! damn!

  16. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Mar 29, 2005 -> 09:11 PM) Kind of cool, this would be his first time in AAA. Frank's open to the idea of a minor league rehab stint. http://whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/news/ar...t=.jsp&c_id=cws damn, Frank's suddenly got one helluva good attitude and i'm lovin him even more. Anyone that tries to spin this is just a f***ing dips***! FRANK
  17. QUOTE(JimH @ Mar 29, 2005 -> 04:49 PM) Just a note, it was Ozuna who got the infield single in the 9th, just after Gload singled up the middle. Then Rowand homered, and Pierzynski got called out on strikes. And I agree, it was a very questionable called 3rd strike but oh well. really? cuz they were callin him timo... odd, yeah it was Ozuna. Maybe i'm losing it
  18. what do you all think? how likely is it that this kid is as good as he was last year? was it a fluke or is he legit?
