QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Sep 16, 2016 -> 02:44 PM) There are several people in the media and politics claiming that Hillary's camp started the birther stuff and also started the rumors he was muslim. There is video of both morning Joe hosts, who loathe Trump, saying it absolutely started in her campaign in 08. Her campaign even fired a scape goat for spreading around an email claiming Obama wasnt born here. James Asher @jimasher 16h16 hours ago Maryland, USA #CNN says #Hillary team in 2008 never raised #Obama's birth in #Kenya. Who is closer to #HRC than #SidBlumenthal, who told me face-to-face. The Clinton camp is running the worst presidential campaign in our lifetimes. Lol not even. They're breaking fundraising records every month. Unfortunately the media is the sole reason Trump is still in this thing, and the fact that none of them hold him accountable for ANYTHING he says is absurd. The very fact that 15% more people think Trump is trustworthy than Clinton is a testament to this. 15%! Even though according to unbiased sources, Clinton makes false statements about 13% of the time, while 53% of Trumps statements are lies. Literally the facts don't matter because of the media love-fest and spin. Liberal media my ass.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 15, 2016 -> 12:29 AM) Not in the filibuster. It was a passionate post. That's all. I've been suspended for posts that the mods simply disagreed with in the 'buster BUT that's ancient history. Literally. Just thought it was funny, but not worth continuing this line of discussion. #imwithcolin

QUOTE (daa84 @ Sep 11, 2016 -> 09:38 PM) delete this post, move it to the filibuster, suspend me or do what you want. I want to extend a giant f*** you to anyone who thinks their social agenda is bigger than standing during the anthem on 9/11. Specifically calling out the following pieces of s***: Arian foster, Jelani Jenkins, Kenny Stills, and Michael Thomas. Will never, ever root for you or the Dolphins organization in my life I so would've been banned for this

QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Sep 14, 2016 -> 02:57 PM) I think Colin Kaepernick is trying to get Chelsea Clinton to notice him because he wants to be First Man.

I've never been so apathetic about this team as I've been this year. Between all the ridiculous embarrassments coming from the LaRoche saga, Sale being an overgrown baby, our inability to develop talent, make decent trades, or even have ONE GM IN CHARGE... I mean that was already enough... but now THIS? I just.... I just can't with this team right now. If you wanted to see a masterclass on how to run a team straight into the ground, you're getting a good one.

QUOTE (greg775 @ May 16, 2016 -> 07:28 PM) Sure. Bill, as reported by the same people who say Hillary is the meanest witch you could ever meet, have nothing but good things to say about Bill. If I consider Hillary as annoying as Gilbert Gottfried on steroids, I consider Bill as likeable as the late Andy Griffith. It will be entertaining as you say when Trump in the debates turns to Hillary and says, "Nobody likes you." Then to the audience, "Nobody likes her," as well as the other insults he'll come up with. Whether it flusters Hillary ... whether it backfires on America seeing how rude Donald can be, ... we shall see. And you wonder why we call your posts sexist...

Conversely, the most recent Georgia poll had Trump winning 42-41 against Clinton. States like that being in play is a very, very bad sign for Trump.

QUOTE (greg775 @ May 8, 2016 -> 11:26 PM) Trump has proven that your first sentence doesn't matter. You fail to realize 8 years of Hillary coupled with the past 8 years of Bill will have made our country "Clinton-aholics." We will want more and more of Clinton and Chelsea will be sitting there not yet middle aged ready to take over. She has eight years to either get her law degree or maybe start out as an ambassador to somewhere. You wait! I'll bet you a Cell beef sandwich and Big Hurt beer she will run for president someday. I would GLADLY take that bet. Chelsea is no Donald Trump. Lol

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 8, 2016 -> 05:41 PM) Reed is doing well for the Mets. Much better than Davidson. I assume Drake and Adam are having a grand time. Never said supporting Avi is considered negative. Not once. Why isn't Oakland dominating the AL with all those White Sox prospects? Mets fans would disagree. If a game gets blown late, it's usually blown by Reed.

QUOTE (Brian @ May 8, 2016 -> 01:23 PM) If anyone is on the ballot, they should be included in debates. They fact they're not is why people say the system is rigged. You recognize the can of worms that would open, right? You must have enjoyed those 17 candidate GOP debates.

QUOTE (greg775 @ May 8, 2016 -> 02:44 PM) Why? Should he speak for free? He's still a former President even though he's going to be First Man. Brilliant? I don't know if she's more special than most people in politics. She doesn't strike me as brilliant. I've heard a lot of s*** on TV about superficial stuff. Chris Matthews was going on about Hillary's style. You think Trump's hair hasn't been talked about? What about Bush's voice? The heh heh heh mimicks on SNL. Ford being a clutz clown. If I think Hillary is screaming and talking down to me, it's not just me thinking that. Finally somebody sees how Chelsea WILL run someday. And we know one thing, if she runs, she wins, especially if she uses the next 8 years to bolster her resume a little bit. It's our country people that let Hillary know they'd support her as the one to replace Obama. It's her turn and all that. Chelsea had never held any public office. She will not run for President, and if she did very few would support her. Your conspiracy loving mindset is getting the best of you.

QUOTE (Brian @ May 8, 2016 -> 12:37 PM) He'll be on ballot in all 50 states. They need to let him on debates. I mean, no they don't.

QUOTE (greg775 @ May 7, 2016 -> 01:35 AM) The Democratic thread needs to discuss the only real issue. What's Bill going to be like back in the White House? If the two really are kind of estranged it's going to be obvious in their day to day life at the White House. This is one of those deals where Bill could step up his speaking engagements as a former president and make a helluva lot of money in his aging years. I mean think about the fees he can charge as a former president and now the First Man. Is Hillary going to listen to him? Shoo him away like a fly on her lapel? The only real issue he says. I love that if I cover the name, I can always tell a greg post.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 5, 2016 -> 10:27 AM) A look at the uphill battle the GOP was facing this year, with or without Trump at the top of the ticket: That's giving ®'s a bunch of states that they would struggle to win anyway. The paths to 271 for Republicans are pretty limited. Right, odds are at least good that the Dems will win NM, CO, NV, OH, NH, etc as well. Couple that with the worst GOP candidate in recent history, and... yup.

QUOTE (greg775 @ May 4, 2016 -> 04:38 PM) Fair and square? Let's see. Bernie keeps winning states, gets the most voter support, truly excites the voters and ... gets no mo jo from the victories cause of the media who worship Hillary and the superdelagates. Not fair and square. Bernie has made it a race and nobody gives him any credit. Uh more than a moral victory til you turn on the TV. He wins states. We know. We watch TV and they tell us Hillary really won ... when the vote total percentages say she lost (and the polls). Nice job of the polls to be WRONG again in Indiana. It's all a set up, folks. It's fixed like Trump says. You understand that simply "winning states" isn't enough for Bernie with how far behind he is, right? He didn't win ENOUGH votes in Indiana to move him closer to winning the nomination, in fact, it became harder after Tuesday night. This is simple math, my friend, not a conspiracy.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ May 4, 2016 -> 03:07 PM) Saw four friends today on FB talking about a Sanders/Kasich dream ticket as a 3rd party. Hopefully it's a situation where one had the idea and then it spread to the others, cause dear lord that is idiotic. They're just political hipsters who have no actual clue how anything works. But it is pretty funny.

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ May 4, 2016 -> 07:52 AM) Indiana put an end to Ted Cruz and kept Bernie alive. We are expecting thank you gifts from liberals. If you ignore the fact that Bernie now needs to win a HIGHER percentage in the remaining contests now than he did before Indiana, then yeah sure I guess it kept him alive. Reality though, tells a different story, and that story is that he didn't win by ENOUGH to actually keep him alive. After Indiana, he now needs to win about 65% of remaining delegates. This is more impossible than it was before Indiana. Indiana was a net win for Hillary. In reality.
-
QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Apr 26, 2016 -> 07:06 AM) It's essentially telling people that that the government should take care of them completely and they have no accountability of their own. "You're perfect and your life still sucks! The government should do more!" Literally could not be more inaccurate.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 26, 2016 -> 03:04 AM) What about the flat tax? I kinda like it. In this day and age of people getting so mad at believers, it is hard to believe he could emerge as the candidate. I mean I am a true believer and actually am a practicing Catholic, but as a nation I sense people get very mad when they find out you are a believer. People around here don't like hearing a word about God, that is for sure. You can't bring up religion or you better duck (except with your fellow parishioners of course). I was just wondering if there was anything about Cruz I could rally around since it appears he may beat out Trump and I despise Hillary as much as I do. Goodness. If Cruz gets the nom all hell will break loose, since Trump will have a massive delegate lead. Ted Cruz will never be President. I promise you that right now. And Greg wtf. A flat tax doesn't negate the rest of the evil spewed by that man.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 11:43 PM) Yeah, to put Hillary as an equal with the rest of the field for trustworthiness will do that to people. That might be the most ridiculous thing I have seen in the Filibuster. No it isn't. I promise. My two or three bans say otherwise

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 10:04 PM) BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA He's finally snapped. It's ok kiddo, it'll all be over soon.

QUOTE (farmteam @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 08:24 PM) Isn't arguing about who is the most trustworthy presidential candidate kinda like arguing who is the nicest guy among Hitler, Stalin and Mao? and given that truism, isn't Hillary the most capable leader of the current field if we take the "trustworthiness" as an even across the board?
