I believe a federal judge order that they all be found. He was the same judge who is on the Flynn case and hasnt allowed DOJ to drop case against Flynn.
-
Was about to say that it looks like Biden may have a backdoor chance with Georgia.
-
Every state has their own rules. State legislatures are really a mixed bag.
-
Many places are calling AZ. VA looks like its shifting back too. IMO the entire point of a Biden candidacy was to win PA.
-
I think this will come down to PA/WI/MI For Biden's campaign I think you rank for likely to win as 1) PA, 2) MI and 3) WI.
-
Saying a million PA mail in ballots havent been counted across the state.
-
If that is true youre probably looking at about +200k for Biden. If its lower than that hes done. If its above 300-400k hes looking good.
-
Historically Madison/ Milwaukee come in late. Biden may be down some because if there are less students at UW due to covid hed miss out on those votes.
-
Its reverse NC/OH, Trump needs a huge early lead. I think youll see similar in WI/MI. Hoping for a split with Biden takkmg PA.
-
He needs Penn, he wont win all of WI, MI, IA. But PA is acting normal big dem parts are coming in slower.
-
He is down 300k, you have to take that deficit seriously. I dont care what they call.
-
What if Biden loses VA?
-
Always felt that was going red, VA, NC, OH, PA, WI, MI, MN are the keys.
-
Supposedly its a lot of early voting. That being said overall Biden seems to be doing better in suburbs, not as well with minorities. Could lead to some different results than expected.

Getting a feeling people were really wrong about Virginia.

What does Republican or Democrat have anything to do with the interstate compact? The way that the agreement was written was if they have enough states to hit 270 electoral votes it comes into play. Someone argued that the states you quoted would never agree. I pointed out that those states dont need to agree to hit 270 votes.
-
Right now in KY Trump is outpacing McConnell by votes which means that people who voted for Trump didnt always vote for McConnell. I know he wont lose, but still interesting to see it break that way.
-
Which would render the obsolete if the popular vote always wins.
-
I was just looking at the same thing with the early KY and IN vote.
-
This isnt a Federal Amendment. These are states passing their own laws where they agree. The agreement states that they need to hit 270 electoral votes between the states who are part of the compact. You dont need any of those states to hit 270 votes...
-
Some states have already passed laws that if the majority of states were to go to a popular vote, they would pledge their EC based on that. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Popular_Vote_Interstate_Compact Illinois is part of this agreement.

She omitted things when she submitted her information to the Senate. The #1 criteria for a lifetime appointment should be honesty. When you apply to be a lawyer you have to submit to character and fitness. They warn you that omissions are bad and could jeopardize your license. You are taught honesty is important. In a nonpartisan world that should have disqualified her. You cant give a lifetime appointment to someone who purposefully leaves out controversial parts of their past. As for states, why are you against people having s say? If DC and Puerto Rico were GOP you'd support them? That's bogus. Our system is built on representation. If PR and DC want to be states we should support them irrespective of how they would vote. As with court packing if ACB resigns, I would say that they should stay at 9. It would be a sacrifice to prove to the US people that we believe in justice and honor. If not, im fine with 13 judges. Actions have consequences, should have called your senator and told him you were afraid of what the consequences are for lying to the American people. The saddest part is they still would have had a 5-4 majority. But that wasn't enough.

Where I come from when you create a rule, even if its amongst friends, you follow that rule. When Merrick Garland was nominated for SC, GOP Senators stated that when it is an election year you "let the people decide." McConnell: "Given that we are in the midst of the presidential election process, we believe that the American people should seize the opportunity to weigh in on whom they trust to nominate the next person for a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court." “The Senate will appropriately revisit the matter after the American people finish making in November the decision they’ve already started making today." It is important for the Senate to "give the people a voice in the filling of this vacancy" by waiting until the next president takes office. "The American people may well elect a president who decides to nominate Judge Garland for Senate consideration," McConnell said. "The next president may also nominate someone very different. Either way, our view is this: Give the people a voice." Graham: "I will tell you this: If an opening comes in the last year of President Trump's term in the primary process is started, we will wait to the next election." The GOP decided to create a rule for their own gain and then when the circumstances were reversed, decided that they wanted to change the rules again for their own gain. It isnt about ACB, its that Republicans set a precedent that you let voters decide and now refused to let the voters have a voice.

Exactly my point.

Trump people believe whatever Trump says that second.
