Im fine with Gio pitching but he shouldn't have gotten a second batter after walking the first.
But most importantly he has to go out there and make them beat him.
Well yes its way beyond what anyone could have predicted. I expected some struggles as a set up guy, but still thought hed be more reliable than Heuer for this season.
But hopefully there are more games and he can come up big.

Agree to disagree. He was in a no pressure situation earlier this year and in the offseason the Cubs would have given him away cheap.
I wish I was wrong about it and still hope that he can find his groove for 10 more innings or so.
Kimbrel wasnt that great the 2 years prior, it wasn't a stretch that hed regress and underperform moving away from a no pressure terrible Cubs team.
