The entire tribe agreed to it because Rob pushed them. It just was a risky play that didnt need to be made at that moment. Id rather have crushed the other teams spirits and tried to show his tribe that hell stick with them no matter what.

6-5 is not great numbers because all the 5 need is to convince one person that they are number 6 and that if they go to the 5 theyd be top 3. I think that in the end this is going to cost him, because other people in his alliance are going to realize Rob cant be trusted. He should have slow played that move a little more, because they are only 1 bad thing happening (injury whatever) from being even numbers. I think he could have controlled Matt and Andrea, so Im not sure what the necessity for the move was. We will see how it plays out, but my guess is that looking back this will be how Rob's alliance splintered.

Rob is all over the place, not sure hes making good decisions anymore.
  4. You get unlimited food, theyll throw you hot dogs, etc whenever you ask for them. Also unlimited drinking which resulted in a very hilarious vomiting situation. If its cold they bring out hot chocolate. They are great seats, I generally dont eat or drink enough to pick them over the seats that are one row towards right field. Enjoy and be prepared to do some eating and drinking.
  5. If it was designed for the best teams to get to the Final Four only the top 4 teams would be in the tournament. The entire point of a tournament is to give every seed, 1-16, a chance to win. That does not mean each team has an equal chance to win, but even a 16 seed only has to win as many games as a 1 seed.
  6. The problem isnt one and done, its the fact that you can get a ton of exposure at Butler as a starter compared to UNC on the bench. If you are hoping for finals where its MJ, Perkins and Worthy versus Ewing and Floyd, it just isnt going to happen every year. Even that UNC team only beat James Madison in the 2nd round by 2 points. Furthermore back then the field was only 48 teams, meaning that the top 4 seeds got byes which gave them a much better chance of moving on. The problem is that you have a tournament that is created to give each team a chance to win. What happens is that some times the best teams dont win. The more chances that are given to lose, the more likely that the best teams wont be in the final game.
  7. Im going to say its going to be considered the worst since the shot clock.
  8. If Blue II gets in the game, this night wont have been a waste.
  9. I think Iowa State could have beaten Butler tonight.
  10. Yeah you cant tell if its Lamb or Walker saying it, but Mack just shoves down Lamb and its hilarious.
  11. haha a Butler guy threw down a UConn guy and you could hear him say "What the f***" (its at 6:23)
  12. Refs must have gotten a call at the half that no one wants to see Butler win a 40-38 game with all of Uconn on the bench with fouls.
  13. I disagree, had Howard not awkwardly gotten in his path it wouldnt have been a foul on either player, the guy didnt lower his shoulder to try and run through the defender. Many times players lower their shoulder, its not always a foul.
  14. Moving your feet is now a charge, if Howard is involved. This is just brutal.
  15. Butler barely held on against Wisconsin on one of Wisconsin's worst days. That one will always sting.
  16. This is going to be a dreadful game. Refs are going to have to let Butler foul a ton otherwise they wont have starters left.
  17. The reward is the hope that some one reads and thinks for themselves. Much of my youth was wasted arguing politics, I rarely, if ever get involved anymore. The only times I do, is when I think that there is actually something worthwhile, something important that I cant let slip by. Maybe there is no point, but you have to have hope. And on that note, more information about the UN doing nothing in Ivory Coast:http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20110404/ts_nm/us_ivorycoast So is it now time to concede that the Ivory Coast argument was nothing more than a farce to detract from legitimate arguments concerning Libya? France already has over 1.5k troops on the ground, http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2011/04/04/...n20050536.shtml, plus another 5-7k UN peacekeepers. Yet almost 10k troops in Ivory Coast is considered doing nothing by some. Ridiculous, just flat out ridiculous.
  18. I dont agree that we should completely turn a blind eye, I think that we should do our best to help those we can. The situation in Libya was far different from the Ivory Coast, and therefore warranted a different strategy and response. i completely understand people who do not want the US to get involved at all, I just dont understand those people who argue against Libya, because the UN is acting different in Ivory Coast. Its as if people believe that there is some one size fits all response to global crisis. I believe that in post World War II society we as a nation have a duty to try and prevent countries committing genocide against their civilian population. I also understand that we are limited in what we can do. But just because we cant help everyone, does not mean we shouldnt help anyone.
  19. People dont even read the articles that they post these days, they just grab the sensational headline and assume that the article will actually support their factually incorrect position. Unfortunately for them, even the most dishonest headline, contains facts: So everyone has been b****ing and moaning about the Ivory Coast and that we should get involved, but lets look at the article: Oh wait, it was the forces of the guy you want us to support, who killed the majority of those people. Interesting, you want us to intervene in the Ivory Coast against Gbago in support of Ouattara, while Outtara slaughters people. Or are you saying that we should put US troops on the ground and fight both sides of the conflict, that would end as well as Vietnam. Maybe instead of parroting newspapers and blogs, its time to think for ourselves.
  20. I have no idea what you are talking about. The Ivory Coast has UN Peacekeepers on the ground in an amount that is the equivalent of 7x the Libyan Revolutionary army. The UN is doing far more in Ivory Coast than what is being done in Libya. So when you actually apply the facts its hard to say there is hypocrisy, most people consider troops on the ground to be larger intervention than a NFZ (ie in Libya there is a NFZ, but many people dont want to take the extra step of putting troops on the ground). I wont even get into why a NFZ was more appropriate for Libya than Ivory Coast.
  21. What do you propose the US do? Ivory Coast isnt going to be a NFZ, they already have thousands of UN troops there. Id be fine with more US support, but everyone who is gung ho about intervention in Ivory Coast must also realize that there is going to be significantly more risk to our troops there and that we will likely see numerous US casualties.
  22. Sale looks like he is rushing his motion some times.
  23. This inning is dragging making it more and more unlikely for Edwin to come out.
  24. I think its 100 even. So questionable if you want to bring him out for another this early in the season when the weather isnt warm.
