I think Mayo isnt starting because of stats like 75% from the free throw line and 40% shooting from the field. You can blame a coach or system all you want, but a great player will put the ball in the hoop in any system. Maybe if his stats were great but his numbers were low I could buy it, but his stats are bad so I can definitely see him not playing as much as last year.
-
Mayo has scary trends which have turned me off on him. No excuse for being a 85%+ free throw shooter as a rookie and now at 75%. Stats like that make me question a palyers dedication.

Just 2 guards But there is overlap at both (PF listed as Centers, SF listed as guards etc)
-
They are both 41st at their respective positions. Not sure how you can say thats low for a Center, but not low for a Guard?
-
Asik per = 11.44 (41st Center) May per = 12.39 (41st SG) How is that homer talk? Centers are more scarce than guards. if you look at them statistically they are pretty similar. The only thing Mayo is much better at is hype. I loved him in HS, thought hed be great in College and have wanted him in the pros. But no way am I giving up a young talented Center on a risk like Mayo. They can have 1st round picks or whatever.

Leuer would be PF/SF and he is tall and can shoot the 3. Presumably if we traded Taj I would think we would want another scoring big man instead of defensive stopper (youd have Noah/Asik already). I just think the Bulls need more guys who can score and Im tired of watching Korver.
-
Id be fine getting rid of Taj and then drafting Jon Leuer
-
Im a pretty big Mayo fan but I wouldnt move Asik for him. I think Asik can turn into a pretty solid big man, but at worst he is always going to be a solid role player. Mayo is hit or miss, and there are plenty of SG's coming into the league every year. If they dont want picks, they can keep him.

If you take all the open 3s Wisconsin missed it makes up for the 1 they got lucky on. -
Dont trade Asik the guy has some pretty good defensive skills.

Yeah hiring Blackwater to help in Katrina is equivalent to hiring mercenaries to kill civilians. /rolls eyes I guess next time I will be more careful and specifically say what I mean, instead of giving people credit for understanding the underlying point. I doubt youll find an example of the US doing that unless you go back to the Civil War, which was pre-Geneva, Pre-UN.
-
If there is evidence of the govt hiring foreign mercenaries, I think that crosses the line where outside govts have to do something to protect the people.

That game didnt make much sense, I figured Syracuse would be favored so when I got points, I jumped on it. For today I parlayed 2 OSU- Illinois bets. Ive got the over and Illinois + 11. My guess is that Illinois loses by 5-7 in a 75-70 game. The over is at 135 so I only need a 70-65 to hit, which is kind of low for 2 teams that can (some times) score.

A lot of this is all over the place, so I guess Ill just respond to what I feel like (much like the US does.) First, the French helped the US to weaken their enemy Great Britain. If we were a French colony, the French would not have helped us. They were entirely self-motivated, lets not rewrite history. As for what the US should do right now, youre damned if you do and youre damned if you dont. On one hand in order to respect a nation's sovereignty you have to let the nation deal with internal struggle. The US had one of the bloodiest Civil Wars in the history of the world, but Im not sure that it would have helped matters if England or France assisted the Confederacy because Sherman took things to far. On the other hand as we all live after World War II we recognize that there is a line that if crossed other countries must take action. I think the US should do what it can to protect people, whether that be to send troops to the Egypt border to facilitate people leaving Libya or trying to prevent Libyan aircraft from attacking civilians.

Its supposedly done. Melo a Knick.

They are messy on a domestic scale, Im talking messy on an international level.
-
Things are going to get messy if there starts to be direct outside interference. But if Gaddifi is going to fight until the end, outside interference may be a necessity.

I joined it looks like fun. First bet is on Syracuse +4 @ Nova.

No one would deny that in many Arab countries women are treated poorly and have very little rights. But Maher is trying to say that every Arab man treats women poorly, which is where it goes from being a general point about treatment, to an attack against Arabs. How does dating a random Arab guy in America have anything to do with the laws in the Middle East?
-
Well I dont agree with his policy, but I definitely agree that he does not have to compromise if he doesnt want to. Elections have consequences.
-
The defense is easy, Wisconsin voters voted in Walker and the legislature. Walker and the legislature have every right to use their numbers however they want. I cant fathom who would listen to Maher, the guy should have hypocrisy tattooed on his forehead.

Common if you like to gobble penis. (Just kidding, I would guess that there are a lot of athletes who get pedicures etc. Ive never had one, but I can definitely see guys getting them.)

Im sure there are some unions who only care about the money, but it would be a historical fallacy to imply that unions have not improved workers conditions. While unions may become vestigial people should have the right to collectively bargain if they want. The Governor of Wisconsin wont even negotiate on union rights if the opponents are willing to concede to the monetary part.

Id still say OSU. Their only losses are @ 2 top 15 teams. -
I asked you to clarify your position, if its not about the money do you agree with the govt stripping away the unions power to collectively bargain? As for the last comment I was drunk and thought that was funny. I actually forgot I posted it.
