  1. Bulls need to get the deal done with Toronto. That could force Wade's hand.
  2. Or maybe Lebron is thinking about leaving, but wants to make sure that before he leaves he does everything in his power to make Cleveland a winner. If he cant get anyone, he can leave and feel that he did his best.
  3. Lebron's decision may have a lot to do with the other FA's. If the status quo remains, Bosh anywhere, Wade Miami, then Cleveland is still a pretty good destination. If Bosh/Wade team up, Cleveland may not be the place where Lebron can win. I think that hes torn, and part of him wants to be like Mike and the other wants to be the Jordan of Cleveland. Hard choice.
  4. If Lebron was for sure staying in Cleveland why not just announce before his camp? I think hes up in the air right now and is trying to see how everything works.
  5. Or Bosh/Lebron to Cleveland, Wade/Boozer to Miami. No real clarity, its wait and see at this point. And absent some major precursor move I dont think anyone will have a clue until everything happens at once.
  6. Yeah it would be nice if we heard Rose was trying to pitch Lebron. Bulls stuff has been really quiet though.
  7. Miami cant hardball Wade he can just leave. Furthermore itll kill their image if Wade comes out and says he wants to go to Chicago to be with his family but the Heat wont facilitate a sign & trade. How many future players would go there?
  8. I take the statement from Bucher about Wade differently. This is the first time you are hearing Wade S&T, that gives the Bulls a way better shot at him. If its just a matter of making the players work, thats not the hardest thing to accomplish. If neither of those teams want Deng, just gotta figure out a 3 way deal that works. Then to the other team a trade exception future picks.
  9. I had a feeling that Noah/Bosh may be a sticking point and the Bulls would have to make a choice about how far they want to go.
  10. I dont know when you were born, I dont really care. If you say something that isnt true, expect to be called on it. The team with the most titles is none other than Brazil. After that you have Germany and Italy, followed by Argentina and Uruguay. Im pretty sure the count is Europe 9 and South America 9. You can want whatever you like, but to act like Spain has been a World Cup soccer power is just historically not true. And you dont need to Wikipedia Spain Football to know their history, you just have to watch 1 or 2 Spanish games and they bring it up in 50% of the conversation.
  11. Now an opt out clause may make sense, as Lebron would have the best of both worlds potentially.
  12. I understand that. The question is why were the same people making a big deal about home town advantage of being able to offer more money? It cant be both ways.
  13. The whole 3 year contract thing doesnt make sense. I thought the whole idea of signing with Cleveland was that Lebron could get more money and after the CBA the new max contract may be lower meaning Lebron may never get that much again? Seems like a lot of contradiction.
  14. After all these fa's sign the bulls may be the only ones with cap space to trade for him, depending on how who other teams were giving up. You never know what will happen, but the Bulls could make a play for carmelo, the Nets can probably outbid them but not a team like the Knicks.
  15. If the bulls miss out you try and trade for Melo. Not the worst case scenario but you have to make ti happen
  16. Well there is considerable ambiguity in that post. ummm could mean Wade/Lebron umm could mean nada I think hes playing people and doesnt know jack.
  17. I think the implication is, Wade back to Miami, Lebron back to Cle. I assume an empty crawl isnt a good thing, but ive never even heard of that term so im not sure.
  18. He clarified, but this starting to sound even more remote:
  19. Murcie is making more sense than Bucher. His 2 statements seem to be in direct contradiction. It only makes sense he meant that Amare to MIA dead, Miami may end up with no one, not even Wade.
  20. Id be more scared if the guy was writing things that actually made sense. Empty crawl? Ear tickle? Who is writing this stuff lol And dont his last 2 statements seem to be in contradiction?
  21. Cleveland just seems to be inept when it comes to getting Lebron the right combination. Obviously if they could figure a way to trade for Melo or something that would drastically change their odds. But it just feels like the Cavs are happy with the team they have.
  22. Spain might succumb to the German squads physicality. One of the problems Argentina had was the swarming German defense. Messi's size really undid him against the Germans as he could just not hold possession against their physicality. Spain is probably more well rounded than Argentina, but they also are a finesse team as compared to the Germans. Id guess Torres starts because they will want his size, but I really think they arent using Fabregas enough. Germany has looked to be the better team so far, but all that counts is who shows up in the next game. Spain will have a lot of pressure on them, this is the first time they have been in the semifinal since 1930 I believe. Germany is playing with house money. Should be a great one.
  23. Not screwed but potentially he could be playing Rose/Wade/Bosh/Noah for the next 5 years which are his prime. Does he want to be compared to Karl Malone/Patrick Ewing? If the Bulls get Wade/Bosh Id say they are better than the Cavs today, and if the Celts dont break up many people might have the Cavs as the 3rd best team in the East. Not exactly where you want to be if championships are your goal.
  24. Spain/Germany could be a great one as well. It will be interesting to see if Spain finally starts Fabregas.
  25. Lebron is great, but if you have Wade/Bosh ready to say yes, you give Lebron a courtesy call and unless he says "Im in" you move on and we watch Wade keep Lebron out of of the finals just like Jordan did to the Cavs. Itll burn Lebron when hes on the other side of those highlights, but he had a chance.
