  1. I am working. I can talk on the phone and read at the same time. Im a 5 tool worker!
  2. If I wasnt at work it would have been funny (or if I hadnt found some awesome Kelly Kapowski porn) but I did and that porn is never coming back.
  3. I hope he was joking and just taking Shipps and my response to the extreme. What happened was you clicked the link and your browser started jumping around the page. I thought "haha" the problem was that when I finally caught the browser and went to kill the webpage, it then rick rolls you every time you close the message. Which therefore made it impossible to close just that tab of the browser. Thus forcing me to manually kill firefox.
  4. No because the Supreme Court of the US could say that the Constitution of that state was unconstitutional and therefore make them amend it. In this instance the US Supreme Court remained SILENT on the Illinois Constitution. How does that make any sense?
  5. At work dont really look at the links before clicking them And its not about Rickrolling, which is haha I got sent to you tube. Whatever site that link sent to took over my web browser and I had to manually shut down fire fox, losing all information.
  6. That was really a bulls*** move. Im on a work computer and lost a bunch of s***. Not really a funny joke.
  7. It just seems like a sensationalized number to get readers. What are the chances that they settled on a $750mil exactly? What are the chances Tiger's lawyers didnt put in a non-disclosure agreement? What are the chances that either Tiger or Elin's lawyer breached the nda? Itd be one thing if it went to trial and the court ordered it. That would be public record. But any settlement agreement should have part of the agreement state that the terms of the agreement are not to be disclosed. And the disclosure of the agreement would void the agreement/ make further liability etc. Just basic stuff and Tiger is paying his attorneys way to much to f*** that up.
  8. Yeah I can see the Bulls saying: "Let pass on Bosh/Lebron because wed have to trade Noah" Seriously? If the Bulls can get Bosh/Lebron and still have Rose, you find some one to stand in the middle of the paint like a statue. I mean the Bulls won 6 championships with a variety of different big men. Anyways the statement was: The Bulls cant afford 2 max contracts. That is wrong, they can afford it.
  9. Did you even read the article? Because it clearly states they can: The article does not even consider trading Noah, but that would be another way.
  10. The bulls can move a few different contracts they could move to be able to get 2 max deals.
  11. Ill be honest, Im really skeptical of this figure. Wouldnt part of the settlement agreement be a non-disclosure agreement? At least if I drafted that b**** there would be, and since no one could ever confirm the numbers, we will never really know. A settlement agreement isnt public record, so Im going to say that this number is not accurate.
  12. That jersey thing is pretty strange. Wade meeting was probably just a love fest. "Oh Dwayne we love you in chicago its just to bad you cant play here. Maybe in 5 years youll come for a MLE when Lebron and Bosh have 5 titles" And Bosh meeting again can only be good things. Obviously speaking with him in Chicago showing him around can only help. Also if I were the Bulls Id keep pitching Bosh that it doesnt matter what Lebron does, if you come to the Bulls things are going to happen.
  13. You can have it in your car in the trunk or other area that is inaccessible to the driver. (I think thats similar to the foid card rule). Just because a gun was used in defense, does not mean that lethal force was required in that situation. The study I would be interested would be to see how many crimes were prevented due to gun use.
  14. Just so its clear, my arguments were not based on actual US precedent. They were based on a common sense approach that is not used in the court system. Thus when I argue that: Illinois constitution differs from US constitution. That when the US accepted Illinois as a state they implicitly ratified the Illinois Constitution. Thus it would require that the US Supreme Court state that the Illinois Constitution is unconstitutional under federal law. Im not arguing that the Federal law doesnt trump State law, im arguing that the Supreme Court did not even address the idea that the Illinois constitution differs from the US constitution and whether that difference is constitutional. They took the easy way out and made bad law in the process. Its not often that a state constitution varies greatly from the Federal Bill of Rights, but it can and does happen. In those cases the State should have the final say on their constitution, until the Fed says the state constitution is unconstitutional. Once again im not arguing this using precedent or case law, this is just my personal opinion based on common sense.
  15. Just because the Cavs dont have cap room today, doesnt mean that they couldnt have tried to make a few trades to clear some space for an additional player. Maybe not a max salary, but still could have done something to get Lebron help. The fact they have no commitment from Lebron basically put the Cavs in stasis, they cant do anything until they know what he does. If you really want your team to win, you would never want them in that position. Youd be trying to work out a way to improve the team. Bucher's argument for Cleveland was ridiculous btw. Who cares if they were close last year, or the year before. Other teams are out there IMPROVING. If Miami landed Bosh and some one else to go with Wade and Cleveland stayed the same, do you like the Cavs' chances? If the Bulls landed Bosh and some one else, do you like the Cavs' chances over the next 6 years? As stated above, the Cavs dont really have a way to trade for more talent, they dont have payroll flexibility, so why are they all of a sudden going to be the best team in the East? How many Eastern titles have the Cavs won? How many Finals games have the Cavs played? If Lebron goes back to the Cavs, they arent clearly the favorite in the East. And depending on other moves, they may actually be considered the 2 or 3rd best team, if not worse. But yeah, Lebron should go back because last year the Cavs had the best record in the East, home court advantage and couldnt even make it out of the East. I guess if they werent good enough last year, why would they have a better chance this year?
  16. The argument for why Lebron wouldnt go back is: Cleveland is a much more attractive destination with Lebron. If he wanted to win with Cleveland wouldnt he be pitching Cleveland to players like Wade is Miami? They dont have salary for a big guy but they still could be doing something to improve.
  17. Actually ESPN said why Bosh, Wade and Lebron would work. You can sign unlimited minimum contracts, meaning that the other players would all be minimum guys.
  18. No the hypothetical is for Bosh. The question would be if you could get Bosh for certain at the risk of Noah.
  19. Hypothetical: If trading Noah to the Raptors guaranteed you Bosh, yay or nay?
  20. All those hippy vegan animal lovers are rail thin. Lets see them fit in a size 0 after eating KFC! I kid I kid.
  21. Okay then this isnt the worst case scenario. It takes Miami out of the running for Lebron (arguably the more important piece to the puzzle). The question would be what to do with the rest of the money? Amare would be a nice consolation prize. Would there be any possibility of a trade for Melo? Not even sure hed fit, but Melo, Lebron, Rose would be quite a trifecta.
  22. Why cant Lebron go to Miami? I thought if the Heat found a way to shed more salary (ie trading Beasley) they would have room for all 3.
  23. Yeah ive had a pretty uneasy feeling since people said the Bulls were the favorite.

    Chicago Trip

Ive been to the Field and Museum of Science and Industry a bunch of times the last year or so, and they both are entirely different experiences that different people enjoy more. Field is a natural history museum. It has the Lions of Savo (spelling but they are the man eating lions from Africa), Sue, the brand new the baby mammoth, a great gem room, exhibit on evolution and I believe the brand new climate exhibit. Science and industry on the other hand is a technology museum. It has the coal mine, german sub, I believe a new exhibit on storms, and a bunch of other things. Depending on which interests you more is which museum youll like. but they are both pretty world class.
