  1. Those ESPN poster/pictures are pretty sweet. I think the best one is Spain.

    LOST!!!!

Thinking more about it, the show actually provides no evidence as to what happened with the bomb/release. The way the show presented it was that the H-Bomb sunk the island (the next episode is the flight 815 that lands), but now it appears that may have never been the same time line at all. The only real answer I can come up with is, whatever did happen, the H-Bomb must have never gone off, because with Juliet's proximity she wouldnt be alive. There is just no way I can believe that some one 5 feet from an h-bomb survived because of an energy release. I guess I could go with the idea that the H-Bomb didnt go off, that the way they presented it made it seem like there was an explosion, but actually it was just a time flash.

    LOST!!!!

Some of the story like the bomb just doesnt add up. If the island was "real" after the bomb, there was no explanation for surviving a hydrogen bomb. On the other hand, if the bomb killed them all, then the entire last season was nothing more than Jack failing to let go and in his mind creating a dual fake reality, where in one of them the bomb was a "success" and in the other it was a "failure". It took Jack letting go of the failure to realize that he was dead and could move on. Once again, I need a few days to really come to grips with the different theories floating around. But I think part of what the creators wanted was different theories with no true answer (the black out at the end reminded me a little of Soprano's)

    LOST!!!!

Well a few of them already are on different shows. Charlie, Penny and Juliet. My guess is that the ones who want new jobs in television are going to be back pretty quickly.
  5. Yeah if I was younger or even older, I probably would have played it a lot. But it happened to come out at the time where my video gaming playing dropped to basically 0. N64 I bought maybe 2-3 games, Mario and Zelda. Mario I beat every single star (Frosh year), Zelda I never completed (Junior year or so). So those few years really changed my video gaming habits.
  6. When Goldeneye came out I was in high school (16 years old). I can recall 1 time getting together with my friends and being drunk playing GoldenEye. I can vividly recall quitting and then going back to drinking and playing pool with girls. Sorry brosef, for the years in High School I very rarely played video games with my friends (used to play them at home by myself when Id come home drunk etc.). It wouldnt be until Frosh year in college that my roommate created a Madden league and I began to play people again. Kalapse, I just never liked 1. I thought 2 was poor as well, but it was far more challenging so I give it respect for that.
  7. Super Mario World = Super Mario SNES I disagree on Super Mario 2. While it was an entirely different game, it still was side scrolling and was the only game where you could be different characters with different skill sets. While the game did not include Bowser, its hard to argue that it "was not" a Mario game as it was the second installment and they just may have gone off the tracks (See Zelda II). NES was still in the formative stages for gaming, so you had a lot of sequels that didnt really match the first. As for the N64 game, its not the graphics, it was the game play. Mario was super responsive and skill made a huge difference. Anyone could beat the game, but not everyone could get 120. I was completely different than you, I played Goldeneye a few times, but it really did very little for me. Mario was the truer challenge of video game supremacy. My friends and I basically raced to 120.
  8. Super Mario for 64 is possibly one of the best games ever. In terms of Marios I would rate them as follows (I have not played anything since 64) 1. Super Mario 64 2. Super Mario SNES 3. Super Mario III 4. Super Mario II 5. Super Mario Brothers Every single one of them I have completed from start to finish (all boards and stars for III, SNES and 64). 64 is legitimately a great game. Some of the stars were difficult even though I was in my video gaming prime.

    LOST!!!!

Every time I think of alternate universe I cant shake the image of the Wizard of Oz when Dorthy wakes up. And you were there, and you were there...

    LOST!!!!

Its going to take me a few days to formulate my thoughts. But I believe the ending credits were nothing more than the flight 815 set.
  11. Royce White is a good wrestler. Hes got some youtube footage of throwing down a security guard.
  12. Ive watched Turner a ton of times, he probably is better today, but Henry only has 1 year of experience under his belt. He also played on a team with more scorers, so it wasnt necessary for him to always be "the man". I think that in a year or 2 he could really explode, he also is a lefty which tends to give defenders trouble. Obviously Im biased towards Henry because Ive seen him play. But also keep in mind that I hate Kansas players.
  13. Never seen Anderson play. But Henry as a frosh had better 3pt % numbers. I just think Henry has a chance to be a good one.
  14. Henry wont be there for the Bulls. Just like Wade wasnt there and they had to take Hinrich. Book it.
  15. Depends on the rights granted from the purchase license. Ive dealt with Getty Images on copyright infringement and they are not that forgiving even if it is "accidental" or "not for profit". Infringement has nothing to do with whether or not you are using the picture for a for profit purpose, but instead has to do with your use of copy written material. Read the fine print, make sure that the license being granted to you allows you to use the photograph however you would like and for whatever purpose.
  16. I think at the end of the day putting the puck in the goal has some luck involved. Right now Hossa isnt getting the bounces. What makes him worth 7.9mil is that even when he isnt scoring, he is still one of the most valuable guys on the ice. He is 4th in playoff scoring on the Hawks (11 points) and has the highest +/- rating for an offensive player at 6. (Hossa also lead in +/- in the regular season). Hes taken 44 shots on goal, but only 4.5% have gone in. Eventually that will even out.
  17. Since I like Henry for the Bulls I assume he wont be there.
  18. I didnt rip into him. But I think Hossa's work on the 2nd line has been key for the Blackhawks. When I watch him play he just seems to be bigger and faster than most of the other guys out there, which allows him to hold onto the puck and work the cycle.
  19. Just because Hossa isnt scoring goals doesnt mean he hasnt been a factor. Imo hes generally one of the more dominant players on the ice. He is a great defender and he is good at getting the puck of the boards at getting it to teammates.
  20. Yeah the implication was that Ozzie had to use Wise as lead off the whole year, which I just didnt think was true.
  21. Wasnt Pods on the White Sox last year?
  22. And I feel the same way. Ive stuck behind Ozzie when all common sense went against it, because he had came through in 2005. But eventually I had to listen to my head over my heart. I dont think you can find many posts by me where I advocate the firing of any coach of the Sox, or where I turn my back on any player. But some times loyalty becomes stupidity. And I personal dont think Ozzie knows his s*** anymore.
  23. Greg, Im not specifically talking about what youve said. Im talking about the people who want change, but only are limiting it to Walker. I think if change is what the Sox need, they need to make real changes. Now I personally think they should be a little more patient and probably evaluate things in June.
