That would be ludicrous. Knox and Bennett both would be able to play numerous downs, but TO is considerably better than either of them this year. Did TO have a problem developing with Jerry Rice? Or did perhaps Jerry Rice help TO? -

I disagree. TO would be a vast improvement over any Bears WR, and would give Cutler a go to WR. I like how Knox is coming along, but he is not a #1 WR nor is he a possession WR. TO would give the Bears a big physical WR, which they are lacking. -
Wont be home yet. I get home around 7 cst (at the earliest), Id probably eat first but after that Im available. Has the sim gone through yet?

It makes sense because Barry Alvarez was an assistant to Fry. Bielema played at Iowa and was an assistant coach there. (He has a tatoo of a Tiger Hawk on his ankle.) And I hope that TE strongly considers Wisconsin. Wisconsin has produced some pretty solid TE's and uses them a lot in the passing game. -
Im done with this weeks game, next week I play Matt. Matt, Im available tonight and tomorrow night, so whatever works best for you.

I used to disconnect a lot, it happens. He already has a loss. After next sim I play Redskins.

The Wisconsin-OSU was an annoying game to watch as a Wisconsin fan. Basically feel that if the offense and special teams could have held OSU to 7 points Wisconsin could have won that game. Iowa- Wisconsin this week should be interesting. -

Honduras missed a penalty kick in about the 88th minute after they had just made the game 3-2 on another score. US was up 3-1 and Honduras almost scored 2 goals in less than 5 minutes. -

We should turn off trades. Trades are being processed that people havent even been discussed.

Its their award, they can give it to whoever the hell they want. Why do people care? It doesnt change anything, its a damn award that is entirely meaningless. Its like arguing about the Oscars, Heisman, MVP or any other award voted by people. They set the criteria, they got to vote and in the end their vote matters and our opinion doesnt. No way should Obama give it back, he won fair and square.
-
What is even the argument against Obama? Over the last year can you name a more important figure who has spoken out as much as Obama? Its a subjective vote, if the voters felt all his speeches were enough to win, then so be it.
-
Obama has been speaking about peace the entire year, not sure why he couldnt win the award? Who cares that he was only President for 10 days, you can win the award and not be President.

Part of the reason for the "Cross" symbol is its similarity to the Egyptian "Ankh." Flasoxx, I agree it should stay. Just not for the reasons why Scalia says.
-
Thats not at all what Im saying. Those churches in no way represent Jew's. It was the comment by Scalia that a cross would be an appropriate symbol to represent a Jew, because "Crosses are the most prolific symbol when it comes to death." The comment itself just shows a complete lack of understanding. If you want to create a memorial that represents Jews, Christians, Muslims etc, it seems some what insensitive to pick any of their symbols. Id think that many Christians may find a Muslim moon being erected to represent all of the people who died in 9/11 a tad insensitive.
-
Id say no to the Gamble ones, FB means jack. The Gore one is meh, as you didnt get to pick your team im more inclined to accept a marginal trade. But in the future would probably say that if your dealing for a HB or QB you gotta send something back that is closer. But since your taking a huge hit at RG and Andrews is young its not that bad.
-
Well Christianity is basically the repudiation of Judaism in that the entire Jewish faith is based on the covenant between god and Abraham and the promise of the messiah. The symbol of the cross (would imo) could be considered as breaking the following commandments: false idols, graven images and have no gods before me. And I said "one of the most insulting", Im sure that many Jewish people would be more insulted by perhaps a Muslim moon or a Swastika. And less offensive would be a religious symbol that had nothing to do with the faith that persecuted the Jews for in excess of a thousand years. Christianity may be the continuation, but for a good part of history Christians went out of there way to kill Jews, even during the Crusades they would some times stop in a Jewish village just to murder and rape them.
-
Eh let it stay. Scalia is an idiot, but it wouldnt be the first time he was completely ridiculous. I would say that a cross would be one of the most insulting symbols to put up to honor a Jewish person.
-
Exactly. Bd didnt get choice of players so whatever 1 deal isnt a major.
-
Oh then ignore me I dont know haha

We need to turn off trades with CPU and only allow accepted trades to be put in. The game automatically processes them it appears. You cant trade kickers or punters (or at least not in any madden ive played).
-
Id rather if you wanted Rivers you trade one of your players who was rated higher. You then could trade Cassel for a player to replace that player. ie Wilfork for Rivers Cassel for a DT rated 81 or so Its not a huge deal though, do we even have draft picks?
-
There are no finances and the computer accepts all trades is why we cant trade for better players. Now that doesnt mean you cant trade a 95 dt for a 90 qb. Just you cant trade a 85 qb for a 90 qb. It doesnt have to be position for position, just has to be feasible the player your trading was picked before the player being traded for.
-
Bob, As you started after the draft you are allowed to propose trades and we will generally approve them as long as they arent lower players for better players. My guess is Tye Hill has that many sacks and that some one has been blitzing their nickel corner off the edge a lot.
