Im just not sure where all of this "multiple language support" is coming from. Most official documents are written in English. The Illinois Compiled Statutes are in English, the Chicago Municipal Code is in English, the United States constitution is in English. I am unaware of any law that requires documents to be translated into multiple languages. If they are translating documents, (imo) its because of necessity not any requirement. Also I dont believe anyone should be "required" to learn anything. If they dont want to speak English, fine with me. You just wont be able to understand a bunch of stuff, but that is your loss not mine.

Why this is super important news, a late night talk show host said something demeaning to Sarah Palin and the world must be made aware of the plot by Obama to have his surrogates destroy her before the 2012 election. Dont you get it, this is the exact type of trickery that the Democrats used to win the election. (I hope people can tell its sarcasm.) I cant believe anyone is reporting this as newsworthy, but thats the liberal media for you, always putting a negative light on the Republican's which is why they want the Letterman clip run over and over again. It was aimed at me. I hate everyone. ROAR And personally ive been on this site for a while, some times I post a lot more than others, but strangely I usually do my most posting in the lean times. There have always been negative posters, I just feel like after 2005 the mentality of Sox fans some what changed. Before then it seemed that even when there was negativity it was always had optimistic undertones. Now its just always doom and gloom, which is strange because the Sox are spending more and winning more. Maybe its with great expectations come great responsibilities and fans expectations have risen. For me Ill always remember what it used to be, when we had $60mil payrolls and were trying to come up with creative solutions to compete. Thats just my opinion on the situation. Not that its really coherent.

I really dont see anything absurd about my stance. Bristol Palin is 18. I pretty clearly stated that a child, which an 18 year old isnt, should be off limits. If you are going around telling the world how great you are because you chose to have your child instead of abort it, then you should expect there is going to be some backlash. Just like if she had been parading around saying how great she was because she had an abortion, she should expect some backlash. I mean do people get upset when Letterman and others take shots at Miley Cyrus, Zach Effron or other child stars? Why do the Palin's deserve some sort of special protection? So no, I dont think my stance is absurd, I think my stance is completely in line with how normal celebrities would be treated by the media regardless of political affiliation.

How is that not an attack? He is basically saying that Beckham isnt producing the way that he wants him to. I hope he sells a lot of shirts, but I need production. Thats a direct jab at Beckham's MLB production, which is something that no one should be worried about. Beckham should be working on getting better as a hitter, not worrying about his production at this moment. I disagree. I think Sarah put her daughter purposefully into the spotlight to try and show everyone how great it is that a young girl is not having an abortion. For every action there is a reaction. And if you come out as the poster child for a very debated topic, expect that you are going to get caught in the crossfire. If one of Obama's daughters was going on the campaign trail saying how she had an abortion, etc etc, you think that would be off limits for jokes? I have no sympathy. (Edit) As for the Willow part, I dont see how you could think he was talking about her. But he left it open to interpretation, so his detractors are going to jump all over it.

I disagree, I dont think any joke is out of line (about an adult) if you put yourself into the public eye. If Bristol was 13, Id say you should probably not go after a child. But Bristol is 18 and you live with the choices that you make.

What are you talking about? Ozzie's job is to GET THE MOST OUT OF HIS PLAYERS. Why would he start attacking Beckham after 2 weeks of being in the majors? You are acting like Beckham is the one who made the call to be promoted to MLB. The point is that Beckham for better or for worse is part of the FUTURE of the White Sox. If he does not get regular consistent AB's it is going to be very hard for him to develop properly. Which is why if the Sox decided to promote him from the minors to the majors, it is Ozzie's job to make sure that he develops properly. That means playing him even if he is struggling because right now Beckham should be worrying about developing and not producing. This isnt about babying our players, Beckham has moved through the minors extremely fast, the exact opposite of babying. This is instead about putting our players in a POSITION TO SUCCEED as opposed to a POSITION TO FAIL. Even the most optimistic Beckham fan couldnt imagine that he could be counted on to produce this year. All you could hope is that it helped him develop faster for the future. Which is why Ozzie is being absurd, he should be protecting Beckham and tempering fans expectations. Would he rather that people booed Beckham and had unreasonable expectations for a rookie? Ive never seen a manager complain about fans being to supportive. Part of me thinks Ozzie doesnt like playing second fiddle to anyone.

I guess Im not understanding the accusations here. What exactly did Obama let go, the personal attacks? I mean its not like Obama wasnt being attacked personally? So why is there a double standard? Is it because Palin is a woman and they believe she should be off limits for comedians? I guess its my belief that if you are going to be in the public eye, you are going to be attacked. And If you cant handle it, politics is probably not the job for you. Personally (and this is just my opinion) it seems like Republican's are the kid on your team who just cant admit that they lost, so the rest of the night they spend b****ing and moaning about how the other team "cheated" or it was "unfair" or the "umpire favored them", at a certain point you just have to get over it. And the Democrats werent much better with Bush, but at least when Kerry was getting blasted on talk shows Democrats werent saying "Oh this is Bush's fault." Or when Clinton was getting flamed daily by talk shows, no one was saying "Oh this is all the Republicans, he made Leno put on this routine." So how they can blame Obama for talk show hosts taking shots at politicians is beyond me as its been going on before anyone even knew who Obama was. People need to take personal responsibility for their actions, if Palin doesnt want to be called a slutty flight attendant, she shouldnt dress as one. Well most Western news sources are suggesting Mousavi is more pro-western. But on some issues he still at odds with the west, uranium enrichment (peaceful) and recognition of Israel.
