It would have been advantageous for sure, but at least for Chicago there are already 2 huge developments (Lincoln Yards and the 62 acre site south of Roosevelt), that are in the works. The Lincoln Yards development may get a USL team.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but no way is anyone leaving $75mil on the table. I doubt that Boras would leave 10mil on the table. If Sox offer $10mil more and another team is willing to let Harper walk over $10mil, I guarantee Boras tells Harper to go with the higher offer because it would be insane to miss out on Harper over $10mil over a 10 year period. Thats $1mil a year, so many garbage playrers get $1mil.

No. Boras client will take the $50mil. The biggest discount i could see is $10 mil total, and even then id extremely doubt it.

Yeah I dont really play that much anymore, but I also have never not bought the top end game system at the time. Ive also never bought an Xbox (always PS and Nintendo), and I was going to get the PS4 pro until I found out it had no 4k blu ray. Eventually Ill have to get the PS because FF7 will be on it, so its hard to justify getting both top end systems. Do you have an S or X? Right now for black friday an S is going to be $199 + minecraft junk. The X will be $399. All the reviews say the X is way more powerful, but not sure its worth $200 more

I appreciate your perspective. I think sometimes people use PTSD as a way to try and reconcile how someone who we are all taught to respect and want to emulate can do something so horrible. Nobody wants to go out there and say "This guy was always a killer" or a "monster" because then we have to admit to ourselves that not all people in service are good/honorable people. So I think that people try and make the excuse that its not the guys fault, its the PTSD that made him do it. The unintended consequence is what you have been discussing in this thread, but its not really something that ever gets discussed.

Hoiberg's minute distribution and coaching continues to be terrible. He took Carter out and subbed in Parker for last play. He was better than Julius Randle all night. Turnovers are insane for the Bulls right now. Lavine is leading the league. They are overall horrendous at that aspect. Hoiberg's rotations are brutal, but there are times he is the best player for the Bulls on the court. Yeah he is committing turnovers, and yes it was a bad pass, but the idea behind the pass was sound. As I said, the stats dont back it up. But Ive actually been watching every game this year, and Im willing to stand by my opinions. Its really hard to rate the Bulls defense, because 99% of the time Im not even sure what they are doing. They basically just run around and leave guys wide open. They double team for no reason. They help when it makes no sense.
