3-0 with 2 outs is exactly when you are allowed to swing at that pitch. What have the Sox done this series with runners on base that makes you think all of a sudden if we just get a runner on first with 2 outs we are going to some how get them in? Griffey got a fastball, he got under it. He worked the count and swung at his pitch, nothing more you can really ask of a player.

Luckily your not our GM, because Griffey is one of the only damn players on the Sox who has shown up. Its not his fault that the Sox are playing him in CF, they just refuse to sit DYE who has been the real problem.

Griffey just misplayed it, he turned the wrong way and was 1 step away. If he turns the right way he makes the catch there are 3 outs right now. Hopefully that was the twins cheap run and the Sox can come out swinging.

The twins need 3 of 3, otherwise they need the Sox to only win 1 of 3 versus Cleveland and the Twins have to sweep KC. 2 of 3 does nothing for the Twins unless the Sox cant win 2 of the next 3.

Its just the sample size compared to the size of the national population. Any day they can get a sampling that leans one way or the other.

I thought Sylar accidentally learned of his powers in the first season when he was trying to work on them with Suresh's father. Ive always considered his ability and Peters ability to be the "black and white" or "good and evil" comparison. Peter is basically an empathetic character who can absorb the powers of those he is near. Sylar on the other hand (Gabrielle which is interesting because now you have Peter as in St. Peter, Nathan a prophet who god spoke to during the time of David and Solomon, and Gabrielle who is also supposed to be a messenger of god.), gets his powers through killing.

The part about McCain coming in and saving the bail out was pretty predictable. I told my sister last night that if Republican's were really smart they would stall on the bail out and then have McCain come to Washington as the savior and fix it. The only problem is if people believe that a President has to face multiple challenges and that McCain should be able to handle a debate and the economy, because if this was some sort of international crisis and economic crisis he couldnt just call up the international crisis and suspend it while he works on the other one.

So Im not understanding how sitting him would make the Sox score more runs? Basically if any other player did anything tonight at worst we were tied in the 9th. For all the Griffey hate, he hasnt been the problem this series. If anything he is one of the few Sox I actually think could do some damage at the plate.

I actually think Letterman is some what hurt that McCain stiffed him when I think Letterman was really going to go all out in supporting McCain. McCain announced running for President on Letterman's show, and you can tell by how they keep saying that "We love the guy" Dave was really going to give him some quality press.
