I think that the Kohl Center may have something to say about hardest arenas to play in the Big 10. Under Bo Ryan, I believe only 1 team in the Big 10 has even won there (Illinois) and they only have done it 2 times. 6 losses: 1 Marqutte 1 North Dakota State 2 Illinois Im trying to think of the other 2, I think 1 is to Wake Forest in the Big 10/Acc. http://www.thenorthwestern.com/apps/pbcs.d.../801150512/1148 -

Minnesota didnt get screwed by the refs anymore than Indiana could allege. Minnesota should have won that game, but they just could not get it done. Indiana's turn overs were not so much because of Minnesota fouling, but more because of the press that Minnesota was running which was causing Indiana to play to fast for themselves and make errant passes. Im not all that excited about facing Minnesota in the Barn this year because it was a game that was penciled in as a W, but now it is going to be a lot harder. Would have been a huge win for Minnesota. -
Sbarro from Northwest Train Station (Ogilvie). I know its classy.

At the time I posted the extent of Claxton's injury was not known. I was hoping that it wouldnt be as bad as it was, but when it happened it was pretty bad. The worst part is that PSU was already down double digits, so they might as well of just not even played Claxton. Good news for the other bubble big 10 teams. -
If you want to keep Utley and Hanram, Id keep Utley as the must player and Hanram as the "may" player. Why? Because if you take Utley as the must player this year you will have a 1st rounder but lose a 5th rounder for Hanley (No way in hell Hanley wont be a first round pick so that is an amazing deal for you). If you take Hanley as the must player this year you will have a 5th rounder but lose a 1st rounder for Utley.

By afford I meant: Spend money wisely on positions of need. That 2-4 million is much better invested in starting O-line, start safety, instead of a back up rb. Angelo is going to go to the grave with his choices of Benson and Wolfe, so outside Angelo being gone I just cant see his guys going anywhere.

How does students yelling reflect on Indiana's decision to hire Sampson, and keep Sampson even after he has already committed violations again? Im just saying its funny to hear them yell at a coach when their coach is setting Big 10 standards back light years. -

Yeah I guess he did just make 2/2 so the law of averages was against him. I still think Randall shooting is basically the worst option. -

Well not sure what Randle was thinking, why not dump it into Pruitt and just for the tie? Maybe even get the 5th on DJ White and go to OT? Illini could have easily won that game, Im not sure how any objective observer can say that Indiana is that much more talented than Illinois in any way shape or form. The difference is basically Eric Gordon. Even then, the Illini could have won. And the Indiana fans yelling shut up Weber, how classy. With a coach like Sampson how can you possibly thow stones? He is the most classless and sanctioned coach in the Big 10. -

Ball was kicked out of bounds by the Indiana player. Illini still has a chance to win though -

Well refs have really been giving Illinois a raw deal. -
Bears arent going to be able to afford J Jones and Benson. Plus I dont see why he would even consider the bears after how they treated his brother. Benson will be the starter and he will have to beat out Wolfe. They spent a 3rd rounder on him, so i doubt they are going to draft another first day half back this year.

In a game no ones watching, Illinois leading Indiana by 4 at IU at the Half. Doubt they win, but still, Illinois has been playing some what tough the last game and a half. -

Minnesota wins. Id say Tubby Smith early favorite for Big 10 coach of the year. I know Bo Ryan could be a candidate, but unlike Seth Davis and other sports pundits, I felt Wisconsin would be competing for a Big 10 title to start the year so their record isnt a huge shock to me. Minnesota on the other hand would have been a bottom dweller, but Tubby has some magic going on. -

Georgia should just go f*** itself. Im so sick of their bulls***, they didnt even win their own conference. HOW ARE YOU MORE DESERVING THAN LSU WHO WON YOUR CONFERENCE? Why dont you go b**** at the SEC. -

First Quarter Impressions: Wells will make some one happy when he goes into the NFL. OSU o-line looks really good, LSU has gotten little pressure and even when they are bringing 9 in the box has been giving up yardage. Interesting that they gave Dorsey so much credit on a play he cleaned up on, the end stuffed it, atleast I thought. LSU needs to attack OSU north and south. When they go lateral they are playing to OSU's strength. I think their RB Scott is underutilized. LSU needs a good drive here and not 3 and out. -

Big 10 may only get 3 teams in the tournament this year. And if they get 4, Minnesota might be that team. Tubby was a great hire, as a Wisconsin fan it hurts because Minnesota was becoming Wisconsin Jr. in terms of recruitment. To even go into MSU and give them a game shows just how far they have come in less than 1 season. -

Bruce Weber has the most road wins of any big 10 coach since 2002. I believe only Matta and Weber are above .500. I sincerely hope the Illini fire Weber, because nothing is ever good enough for those fans. -
