  1. Maybe they should include footage of Brolin getting his ass kicked and tased. That would be more entertaining.
  2. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jul 27, 2008 -> 09:05 PM) I dunno, weren't those in California? I can see Obama having the political clout to do something like that now, but he was still basically a nobody back then and I doubt if he can pull something like that off. He was friends with Rezko, anything is possible. Not saying he knew about it, but if he had frineds who were looking out for him.....
  3. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jul 27, 2008 -> 07:53 PM) Mayor Daley says hi. Same thing on a smaller scale. Not coincidentally, Obama is a product of dirty Chicago politics, you can't make it very far without slinging a little mud. First election he won in Chicago, he did it on a technicality by getting everybody else disqualified and running unopposed. And then of course 'someone' managed to get at those sealed divorce papers of Ryan's. Those don't show up, Obama is back organizing communities. I still want to know who it was that had leaked those.
  4. Found this on a different board. A timeline McCain can go for!
  5. QUOTE (Texsox @ Jul 26, 2008 -> 03:26 PM) Um, McCain? George Harrison and friends already did that bolded part, in 1971. http://www.theconcertforbangladesh.com/ So Bangladesh is off limits for politicians looking to help some poor kids, McCain called it first, go find some other poor children, God knows our planet has enough of them. Whoa, bring it down a little Tex. I just found it quite funny that of all the crappy countries to pick from, he picked that one. And Georgie and friends did what, sang for an hour or two? John and wife (and perhaps a nanny or two? I don't know.) raised a kid.
  6. From Obama's Berlin speech: Um, Obama? Mccain already did that bolded part, in 1991. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1209516068...emEditorialPage
  7. QUOTE (Rex Kicka** @ Jul 26, 2008 -> 09:30 AM) So then would it have been better if he wrote "HA HA, I knew you'd print this!" Just because he suspected someone would take it out and make it public doesn't make it anymore of anyone's business. I didn't say that. However, knowing that what you are supposed to write in private would become public, is it really then sincere? Only he will ever know.
  8. QUOTE (Texsox @ Jul 25, 2008 -> 09:47 PM) How soon until someone claims that Obama paid the student to take it out of the wall and send it to newspapers? Wait, I guess that is me. 10:53 PM Central I'm cynical all the time. Too good of a prayer. He is at least smart enough to know it may be published. Notice he didn't say pray for my illegitimate children or rid me of my cocain addiction. I was actually going to say something along the same lines, but more like "He knew SOMEONE would take it out and make it public".
  9. With all his money, couldn't he have gotten someone better looking? Like Elliot did?
  10. QUOTE (Texsox @ Jul 23, 2008 -> 06:10 PM) Whether the media is biased or not, the GOP has won the battle. I'm not certain if it is more amazing they won over an unbiased or biased media. They are certainly biased in their political contributions. http://www.ibdeditorial.com/IBDArticles.as...301702713742569
  11. Since when is Obama on the Senate Banking Committee?
  12. Yeah, the MSM sure seemed to miss his staff's presumption of victory the other day. http://dyn.politico.com/printstory.cfm?uui...02034DF88C14E66

  14. Chinese consider themselves the chosen people, so they really don't give two s***s what other people think.
  15. No money in owning newspapers anymore.
  16. Sorry. Can't login during the day anymore for a while. I seem to miss stuff.
  17. http://www.drudgereport.com/flashnym.htm Yeah, they're not playing favorites or anything.
  18. Seems one of our own here has been busy on Digg. http://digg.com/pets_animals/McCain_s_Pretty_Lame
  19. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 20, 2008 -> 03:11 PM) LINK Don't they have more important things to worry about? This is childish and low class, even for San Francisco.
  20. QUOTE (knightni @ Jul 20, 2008 -> 11:44 AM) Did we just become best friends? Get a room, will ya?
  21. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jul 17, 2008 -> 11:50 AM) http://thinkprogress.org/2007/02/26/gore-responds-to-drudge/ 1) Gore’s family has taken numerous steps to reduce the carbon footprint of their private residence, including signing up for 100 percent green power through Green Power Switch, installing solar panels, and using compact fluorescent bulbs and other energy saving technology. 2) Gore has had a consistent position of purchasing carbon offsets to offset the family’s carbon footprint — a concept the right-wing fails to understand. Gore’s office explains: What Mr. Gore has asked is that every family calculate their carbon footprint and try to reduce it as much as possible. Once they have done so, he then advocates that they purchase offsets, as the Gore’s do, to bring their footprint down to zero. http://tennesseepolicy.org/main/article.php?article_id=764
  22. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 18, 2008 -> 04:59 PM) i hATe iT whEN pEOPLe tYpe LYk3 tHSI! Yeah, that!
  23. Sure, after the press conference people will know who you are, but if you move a few states away, nooone will remember you. Unless you buy that $100 million mansion on the hill, etc. And there are ways to hide yourself legally that cost less than sharing $60 million with other people. As for the relatives, you set up the ones you want right away, and then disappear. I CAN say no, and WILL say no, if the opportunity ever arises.
