  1. got 1 dog(Domino: Black and white border collie/Dalmatian mix) and 2 birds(Hector-common gray cockatiel, Fernando-white faced cockatiel)
  2. UP was great....love the bit with the lead dog and his collar problems.
  3. Do love the crazy bread....kinda on a withdrawal from it though, haven't had it in a while. Something I'm addicted to and have been for a couple months (gotta have it at least once a day)
  4. QUOTE (santo=dorf @ Jun 11, 2009 -> 07:06 PM) Final Destination movies suck, and what's up with this trend of sequels not being titled with the original movies? "The" Final Destination? "Rocky Balboa?" "Rambo" (which is Rambo 4 oversees.( fast and furious

  7. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Jun 8, 2009 -> 11:54 PM) I recently finished the mini-series Band of Brothers and it was phenomenal. I know it's not a movie and this is a movie thread, but I figure a mini-series is close enough, so I thought I'd mention it. Definitely a very cool look at the march to Berlin from the paratrooper perspective, whereas most accounts I've seen/read are from guys that landed on the beaches on D-Day and went from there. Bastogne was hell. And it's definitely sad when you see how many of the original guys that trained at Camp Toccoa ended up dying or wounded pretty badly, but the series as a whole was great. Can't believe I waited so long to finally watch it. Couple of years ago, I caught the first episode of the series on History channel. I proceeded to go to the store and get the whole collection for myself. What was I thinking going that long and not checking out that series? Favorite War Movie/series.
  8. speaking of Jim Edmonds, I think Alou, and Durham are available...if they haven't retired.
  9. Individual oriented offense at the moment....not team oriented. Everyone wants to be the one to get the big hit, and most of the time it's a homer, because no one is ever on base. See nothing but pop-outs and weak choppers to the left side.
  10. Frustrating seeing the whole team struggle offensively at one time. I'd like for them to hit another stretch of games where they at least score, so I don't have to put something else on the tv. I miss watching a whole Sox game....the last few have been turned off within the first few innings. I'll be watching tomorrow, hopefully for the whole thing.
  11. by the way....movie was hilarious. Zach being Zach in the movie, which was brilliant.
  12. QUOTE (santo=dorf @ Jun 5, 2009 -> 11:04 PM) Made by a convicted Child pedo. I saw Hangover and Drag me to Hell tonight. Both were good. It's too bad Drag me to Hell was only rated PG-13 as some teenagers would just not STFU and the entire first row of 10 year olds were ejected about 30 minutes into the movie. went to watch The Hangover tonight.... I was carded. I'm 24, but the theater has a new policy....must be 21 or older to purchase R tickets. You can be 17 to watch, but you have to be 21 to buy...WTF is up with that??
  13. QUOTE (juddling @ Jun 4, 2009 -> 02:29 PM) Burn Notice returns tonight!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's gonna be awesome, can't wait. I like how they got the actor Michael Weston to play a part in an upcoming episode. Seems like they're getting some good guest stars, and making for a even bigger budget than last season.
  14. Colon is getting ahead of everybody at least, now they're starting to get hits
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 2, 2009 -> 07:41 PM) Mazzaro didn't throw a strike to anyone that inning. Nix swing after 6 straight balls is ridiculous. the way he's been pitching, i would take until i get two strikes
  16. nice only way for wise and betemit to get on back to back......with walks
  17. In a division with the Marlins: Hanley, Emilio - Phillies: Victorino, Rollins, Werth, Abreu*, Bourn* - Nats: Milledge*, Lopez*. Castro has put up a pretty decent sb/cs rate since about '05 *=previous years
  18. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ May 28, 2009 -> 01:22 PM) Pocket Sand!
  19. you always break the bank with what's "owed for damages"....if settled, it would be for far less IMO
