QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 11, 2007 -> 03:04 PM) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHmvkRoEowc quick question.....Is that a guy or a girl? Either way I'm deeply disturbed after watching that.

QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Sep 5, 2007 -> 01:22 AM) Judging from what I'm reading, Lair turned out to be a flop because of un-responsive controls despite good graphics/story and occasional good parts. Too bad, it sounded like an awesome premise. Also, it sounds like Warhawk is a must-own for PS3 owners, assuming of course that you can play online. i was about to buy that game, then saw the review....it wasn't too kind, so i backed off. Heard Heavenly Sword was not up to expectations also. No horrible comments, i just heard that game could be better. Recent successes for the PS3 though are Warhawk and DiRT. DiRT looks good, I might check that game out as my first racing game, Nascar 08 was a piece of s***....I should have looked at it's rating before i bought it. Need For Speed doesn't come out for over a month. Then GT5 comes out next year.

QUOTE(Brian @ Sep 10, 2007 -> 09:16 PM) So people won't see the movie because of the title? Will the name of the movie keep it from being good? Come on. I'd like to think we all aren't like Star Wars nerds, complaining about the titles. Screw that, they can call it whatever they want, I'll still be watching it the day it comes out. Just saying I'm sure there could be "cooler" options than the one chosen. Kind of a long title for a movie.

So Gibbs Racing going to Toyota next year...Like to see how that works out, was never in favor of adding Toyota to NASCAR. With a recent win in the Busch series and Gibbs switching to Toyota, things are looking a little better for the manufacturer.

QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Sep 9, 2007 -> 06:37 PM) I had no idea about this movie and saw it after reading some of the reviews on rotten tomatoes. I was laughing at all the action movie cliches. Smokin' Aces was a horrible movie as that wasn't funny at all, and I had no idea if it was supposed to be a comedy, a thriller, a drama, or an action movie. Shoot 'Em Up was all about the cliches. I know what it was doing with the cliches, and the satire, and the brainless action, but it was too thick. I give it somewhere between a 5 and a 6. Not horrible, but not great.

QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Sep 9, 2007 -> 05:51 PM) Yeah, and I actually liked Deja Vu and the Manchurian Candidate remake quite a bit. Training Day I didn't think was a particularly great movie (it had some very good elements), but I do think Denzel did a fantastic job in it. that's why i posted it... I loved Deja vu and the Manchurian Candidate as well. both got good reviews.

QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Sep 9, 2007 -> 08:37 AM) Russel Crowe is the most likable (not lickable) bad ass in chaps. Saw "3:10 to Yuma" last night. I loooooved it. Crowe has in the top 5 best actors alive: (De Niro, Crowe, Pacino, Bale (in tie for first), and tie for fifth with Denzel and Tom hanks. Minus points to Denzel for making s***ty movies now and minus points for Tom hanks for making s***ty movies in the past) So anyway, this film has two of the top 5, PLUS, Peter Fonda, Luke Wilson, Dallas Roberts, Ben Foster, Alan Tudyk, and Gretchen Mol... funniest thing I read from IMDB.com: Eric Bana was in initial negotiations to star opposite Tom Cruise in this film. (Bana would have been decent, but Cruise would have had to use one of those midget horses.) Denzel is not making s***ty movies at the moment.

QUOTE(SoxAce @ Sep 8, 2007 -> 02:49 AM) I saw "Shoot Em Up" today and if your a fan of action packed movies (with comedy in it as well) I highly recommend it. IMO, it was pretty good. Ya I saw it today (which I believe today was the opening of the movie) And yes, you should see it. Damn good. Not a good movie at all. I had high hopes for this movie after seeing the trailer and that leaked sex scene. After watching it I wanted to find a reason for liking it but I couldn't. It failed at everything Crank and to a lesser extent Smokin' Aces succeeded in.

My brother(twin), who i'm really close with is GETTING religious. You guys kinda know the person i am....he keeps shoving this stuff at me...hard for me to take some of the other things he's shown me. He's into the conspiracy stuff...i was looking into it with him...then he points me to this stuff. I had to take a break from the preaching and get back to movies, music, and sports. He tells me to stop with the mundane stuff that takes your mind away from what matters(God), and tells me to read the bible etc.... So I read the bible in my time and take my own views, but i don't want an open mind like him.....he looks at that Tom guys videos and website constantly...i've rarely had time to get on the internet and reply. I respect my brother for his views and his opinions, and whatever else he throws at me(he is the closest out of everyone i know).

Bonds homerun average per year before 31 years old-30.3(334 total) Bonds homerun average per year after 31 years old-39.1(431 total) A-rod homerun average before 31 years old-39.8(518 total) the totals after 31 were figured from their on pace for this year...A-rod on pace for 54(50+3 times), Bonds for 31(hit over 50 once, 73) If A-rod keeps that average he beats Aaron/current Bonds Record in 6 seasons for 755. If he averages 30 to 35 homeruns until he's 40 he will have approximately 790 to 830. A-rod played less than 148 games once (129). I say he's pretty durable...granted he'll get older and probably get banged up and miss some games, hell he might DH later in his career if he stays in the AL, that could only help him stay healthy. I can't think of an argument against A-rod not breaking Bonds' established record whatever it will be when he finishes. I see A-rod demolishing Bonds' record.

QUOTE(TheOcho @ Jul 30, 2007 -> 05:35 PM) I don't understand why I would pay 7 or 9 bucks to see a show I can see on television... just my own opinion. I laughed at the joke Homer made at the beginning that basically goes along with paying to see something for free.

QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Jul 6, 2007 -> 01:48 AM) I don't know why anyone would buy a 360 now. 33% failure rate? Really, Microshft?
