QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 9, 2009 -> 02:15 AM) Yeah, I just love to slurp me some Dweezy. THEY BOTH SUCK! At least as every day players. When Wise sucks, he just sucks. When Anderson sucks, it's always some lame excuse or Ozzie is the devil crap. That was cute in 2006. And I was one that vehemently defended Brian that year. It's 2009 now. He is what he is. My solution? It sure as hell isn't giving a guy with a career line of .224/.284/.369/.653, who's 0 for his last 19, the every day job. And I'm glad Ozzie doesn't feel obliged to do that. We have the worst CF situation in baseball. Our only bet is that CQ gets back (and actually stays healthy for the remainder of the season) and we move Pods to CF. Agreed, I'm sick of the Brian Anderson s*** around here, too. The Gerber Baby may be a great defensive player, but he's not a major league hitter, he never will be, at least on this team. Funny that Pods didn't need "consistent playing time" to find his swing this season -- he had a shortened spring, was sitting at home, called to the Sox AAA team, then called up to the majors, played a few games and suddenly started hitting like it was 2005 again...why is it when The Gerber Baby gets a few games to play in a row (and he has) he goes 0 for 3000. STFU about Anderson already.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 8, 2009 -> 09:33 AM) Once again how is every hitter's failure on Walker, but pitcher's failures are never on Cooper? Do you know the White Sox have given up 8 or more runs 11 times this year? That's more than they have been shutout. Its the players, not the coach. Change the coach and you will have the same result. Can someone please come up with a replacement when they said Walker must be fired? I agree, I wasn't defending the firing of Walker while ignoring Cooper. They've both had their successes and failures. I don't see people saying Greg Walker is magic with Pods recent success! It may not be just the players, but a combination is what some people may be getting at. Just blaming Walker isn't right, though, I didn't mean to make it sound like I was saying that.
-
While it's not Greg Walker that's swinging at those sliders in the dirt -- he is the one in charge of it -- and therefore shares the blame. If my entire team stopped doing their jobs properly here at Blue Cross, they'd not only come down on us, but our manager, too.

Oh hell no to this entire post.

So let me recap this entire argument before it continues on endlessly with neither side admitting defeat... is clutch when he hits the ball fair/safe in an important situation. is not clutch when he strikes out or hits into the shift/non shift in same situation. I bet people said Alexei was clutch last year whenever he stepped up with the bases loaded, too.

Pod people unite! Go Sox. And LOL @ all you Pods haters. I didn't want to say it, but I couldn't hold it in anymore. :P -
QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ May 29, 2009 -> 11:14 PM) Shrugs are for building traps, but do they help build a strong neck too? Does anyone use the neck machine? Also, if you do decide to do shoulder shrugs -- do NOT roll your shoulders thinking it will target more muscle area, it won't. A proper shrug is straight up, straight down -- NO rolling...which almost every idiot in the gym does. Rolling shrugs can fray up your rotator cuff, and add nothing to the shrug exercise itself. If you want to work out your traps, I recommend doing upright rows.

Most airports/stores around your destination will sell universal converters -- when I went to Australia on my honeymoon I ran into this, and at first I was afraid to use said converter, but it worked fine, and it didn't kill any of our devices. I think it cost like 14$ or something. -
QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ May 26, 2009 -> 03:47 AM) Warlocks are pretty hard to play, but maybe that just goes for all clothies. I got it to 19, pretty confident, and poor Arulparagasm got raped in the battlegrounds. The holy pally and the rogue were never such easy things to kill. Depends on the situations when it comes to PVP -- especially in 1 on 1 fights. For the last year or so I've been playing my horde Hunter -- now I'm back to playing my alliance Hunter, I just got him to level 76 last night! It was meh weather, nothing else to do so I played.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 22, 2009 -> 07:19 AM) That's fantastic. Good move. That's not fantastic, what it does show, however, is that politics is still business as usual. And I don't care which side of the idiot dividing fence a person stands on -- these bills being upwards of 800 pages is downright corrupt. They're 800 pages because 90% of the contents of the bill have almost nothing to do with the title of the bill itself. This is sneaky, common practice in Washington, always has been, and still is. I call the fence dividing the dummy-craps from the republi-cant's the idiot dividing fence because anyone standing on either side of it is just that...an idiot. Until both sides comes to the realization that both parties have their merits AND flaws, we will continue to play this game, and it infuriates me. Them doing stupid juvenile s*** like hiring a speed reader which is meant to be nothing more than a huge LOL to the Republicans shows they think this thing is a f***ing joke. And on the flip side, the Republicans asking them to read this aloud, after the hundreds upon hundreds of similar bills they pushed through without having to read them aloud is equally ignorant. I'm tired of them (both sides) treating the country I live in like a joke for their own personal gain while their sheep followers watch on and take it all in as some form of f***ing entertainment.

QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ May 22, 2009 -> 01:03 AM) Lat pull down behind neck, bad. There is nothing wrong with bringing the bar down to your chest when you bench press, you want a full range of motion. Bouncing it however, is cheating. It's also very dangerous -- as your sternum isn't meant to act like a spring. I've been going to the gym for years, and studied a lot on proper technique, and I'm amazed by how many people do almost every exercise improperly -- including personal trainers who should know better.

P90X will work as good as any other workout -- so long as you do it...consistently. For most, this is the hardest part of any workout. So yes, of course p90x works, but only for those that do it, and keep doing it.

QUOTE (CanOfCorn @ May 21, 2009 -> 10:29 AM) I disagree...but I already posted about that, so I won't rehash. You can't "disagree". If Peavy rejects the trade -- nobody goes anywhere...so what exactly could you possible disagree with? Heh.
-
None of this means anything unless Peavy says yes...so settle down.

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 21, 2009 -> 10:22 AM) I love how quickly we stole the Cubs thunder. Unless he says no.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 21, 2009 -> 09:45 AM) Acquiring Peavy will just prove my point. The one you told me was wrong. I just don't want to see the BS if he says no and KW goes back to his $.50 routine wondering if they will be able to pay the electric bill. I agree.

QUOTE (knightd1 @ May 20, 2009 -> 06:54 PM) I started playing when burning crusade came out. I quit maybe 2 years ago(?) I forget the name of ther server though. I had a level 69 BE monk and a 30 BE pally. I just up and quit one day. Needed a break and things come up. I may play again after the summer to check out the next expansion, but who knows. I had the most fun in pvp. Ps. I cant be a nerd 'cause girls who play video game s are cool..... A BE Monk? There are no monks in WoW. Sounds like you melded EQ2 and WoW into the same game.
-
I play, but commonly take spring/summer off -- but I leave my account active. I've been playing since it was released in 2004, primarily the Hunter class, I tried a Warrior once and shortly after went back to my Hunters. Over the years I've beaten (almost) everything in the game except for the newest dungeon that opened -- originally I played alliance, but the last few years I've played horde, below is my current character. I haven't really played since a few weeks before 3.1 was released, though. This is me: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.x...;n=Hermntuthrot I'm not playing right now since it's spring/summer, but as you can see, the guilds I'm with are pretty strong so if you had any questions feel free to ask.
