  1. Hey, even scraggly biker dudes can be Sox fans...they know a good team when they see one!
  2. He's nervous. Besides, Duque would have given up 4-5 runs himself.
  3. Not me...I'd partake in that! QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Jun 20, 2005 -> 01:03 PM) I know that many here would jump off the ledge but if we packaged Crede, B-Mac, Anderson and another top guy (Gio, Sweeney, Fields, etc.) for Oswalt and Ensberg I'd jump for joy and clear some time in October
  4. Leave Crede alone, he plays good Defense and his average offense has been 'good enough'. If we are going to deal anyone and take on money, I say we get Roy Oswalt...he's young, and he's F'ing GREAT (and not TOO expensive). We get him and we have the best pitching the majors by far. One extra bat in the lineup wont help us come playoff time...but an extra ACE would.
  5. With Big Hurt back in this lineup...this lineup suddenly appears dangerous. Funny the difference one presence in a lineup can make. -hPOD

    Jake is the new Herbert Perry. You are the "Milkman" of this message board. The Milkman Jake delivers. QUOTE(Jake @ Jun 14, 2005 -> 12:21 AM) :banghead It won't let me change it! Ahh I'm such a tard.
  7. The Timo "LOL" avatar = teh win ;D QUOTE(3E8 @ May 31, 2005 -> 12:28 PM) I was thinking the same thing. "That's all?"
  8. There are HUGE catfish there. I go to LBL (Land Between the Lakes all the time), as a matter of fact, I'm going there the week of June 1st - 5th for some camping/fishing! QUOTE(YASNY @ May 25, 2005 -> 11:58 AM) I live near Kentucky Dam, which is the dam on the Tennessee River that created Kentucky Lake. Local divers swear there are catfish at the base of the dam, on the "river" side of it that are so big they can't get off the bottom of the river. They sit at the spillway and eat the fish that come through it. I've heard there are 8 foot catfish there.
  9. At least it wasnt the leadoff walk. :/ QUOTE(YASNY @ May 20, 2005 -> 02:28 PM) I hate walks
  10. LOL QUOTE(DABearSoX @ May 20, 2005 -> 02:19 PM) Oh calm down.....Valentin would have had like 3 by now
  11. We shall. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 20, 2005 -> 01:39 PM) YAYAYA I like it Freddy. Shall we tack on a few more insurance runs?
  12. I admit it, my stomach churns a bit during these games. :/
  13. You *STILL* look like that guy from the Twins. :finger :finger :finger QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 20, 2005 -> 09:48 AM) This would be my guess as to our lineup but who knows... LF Podsednik 2B Iguchi CF Rowand 1B Konerko C Pierzynski RF Dye SS Uribe 3B Crede P Garcia
  14. Why? I'm happy Duque is going against Prior...Duque is at his very best in playoff type situations against stellar pitchers...his trackrecord prooves that. QUOTE(chi-guy2 @ May 19, 2005 -> 03:37 PM) i like that idea, it would work, but then we have to hit their pitching which we seem to always to a good job of im worried about el duque going against prior, that could spell disaster
  15. Has anyone told you that you look *exactly* like that homo on the Twins? :finger :finger :finger :puke QUOTE(Jabroni @ May 19, 2005 -> 03:13 PM) Yep, it looks like the wind will be blowing in at 13 - 14 mph. Okay, so Freddy is pitching away from the Cell, during the day, and the wind is blowing in. He has no excuses for f***ing tomorrow's game up. Those are the ideal conditions for his type of pitching and the splits (day game, away from the Cell) are in his favor, BIG TIME.
  16. I don't think it's all that early in the season anymore...it's almost June. Hindsight is always 20/20, and I'd rather not look back in September after losing the division to the Twins by 1 game and saying damn...if we only the heart of the order had hit higher than .200 early on in the year...oh well, there is always next year. -y2 QUOTE(SoxAce @ May 17, 2005 -> 11:57 AM) I definitely know where your comming from on this but let me ask you something. How many games have we played so far? It's still early in the season. At least give it till the all-star break to see what's goin on with our players who are in the slumps now.
  17. The key to El Dookie kicking ass is putting him in a pressure situation... He's golden under pressure.
  18. If I said anything negative about this team earlier on in this thread, I take it all back. :D Oh, and I get one of these:
