  1. Guys, I'm going to agree...as nervous as Koch makes me, I remember back when Mr. Shutdown Keith Foulke would make me just as nervous...as for Koch today, broken bat singles = luck...you act like he is out there giving up cookies and that is clearly not the case. This happens, and it's just unfortunate for Buehrle and Koch it happened today (2 broken bat singles). We have to forget that now and go out there and NOT strand the bases loaded again. Don't blame Koch for lucky hits, blame our offense for not producing an insurance run when we had 2 clear chances to do it tonight. -y2
  2. Well when a person has 10k+ posts, that's like a major league stuff...I, being a rookie, just wanted to be recognized. I'm the up-and-coming young rookie around here...and I'm buying into my own hype!!! -y2
  3. Nice. All in good fun! =) -y2
  4. :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke :puke
  5. I don't know the difference between the two. I hear people talk about how great the radio announcers are over Hawk and DJ but I disagree...the Sox radio announcers annoy me. :headshake
  6. Sox radio announcers : Come on Paulie...how about a long one. -y2
  7. To play Ozzie ball. If we 'chip' away at their lead...their lead turns into a tie. If we hack away at the ball...we strike out. Another K for Jose...just like so. CHIP AWAY...all we need is 1 run per inning and we can win. -y2
  8. Come on "Hose" reel 'em in and light 'em up!
  9. We need a double from Lee... Or I can always do my imitation of the Sox radio announcers: "How about a long one..." Those fruits are ALWAYS talking about home runs. -y2
  10. Can't go to the park to support the team only when they win, this is a huge problem with attendance already. Silver lining : At least the day our (4th tryout) #5 went on the hill, the Twins lost... -y2
  11. It's not that he's sitting back doing nothing...it's too early in the season to get anyone worth getting at the moment. KW has been trying to get a 5th starter (who is BETTER than the usual 5th starters, as he's targeting a solid #2, rather than some journeyman)...problem is, it's too early in the year for teams to raise white flags...so nobody worthwhile is available. -y2
  12. From what I'm seeing, Jons major problem (and this will follow him in the majors for as long as he's here) is his seeming unability to get a single strikeout. Once in a while, in situations like this one, a K is HUGE, and he's unable to get ANY. He needs to either begin working on some sort of cut fastball or slider so he has a strikeout pitch he can toss from time to time. In the majors, even the slowest of pitchers like Maddux get strikeouts, situations like one Jon is in now make them absolutely necessary. -y2
  13. You had to expect a LEAST a sac fly with runners on 2nd/3rd with 0 outs. Like I said, 2 runs we can make up. He just has to stop the bleeding now. -y2
  14. Jon has to settle down and stop the bleeding now...we can make up 2-3 runs easy. -y2
  15. We have Master Yoda and Master Obi Wan Kenobi on here, can't you guys do Jon a favor and use the force or something?! -y2
  16. Welcome back to the majors, Jon...good start against a good offense...now keep it going...solve our 5th spot problem right here and right now. -y2
  17. Qwerty, I just wanted to hit you with a stick.
  18. No, he's not considered a rookie. He played 3 years in Colorado, and in 155 games in 2002. But he was still a steal. Give KW credit...for as much bad as KW has brought upon us, he's more than made up for it with Loaiza and Uribe. -y2
  19. Jose, Jose Jose Jose....Joooooseeeee....Joseeeeeeeeeeeee!
  20. Oh really master Yoda? He used his Jedi master like skillz and got out of that one.
  21. Yes, it is dead here tonight...too many peeps went to the game! And here I am...stuck at work... :puke
  22. Texiera schmixera. Mark fights his way out of 2 NO out singles to start the inning. 0 ER. Rangers schmangers. -y2
