You're right, that is what I meant. I'm sorry I didn't word that better. I was in a rush when I wrote it.

I think comparing Islamic Extremists to the Christian Right is wrong. The Christian Right may do some extreme things but not like the Islamic Extremists. That being said Islam has it's extremists, but that's not to say Christianity hasn't. Here's something to think about: Islamic extremist is to Islam as KKK is to Christianity.

I've never had mono but my roommate had it a couple weeks ago. First of all, check to see if the lymph nodes in your neck our swollen (my roommate's were so swollen you could see a bump in her neck). Also check to see if your tonsils are swollen. My roommate was throwing up the first few days she had it. And she never had a fever the whole time. If you're still feeling like crap, I recommend going to the doctor. Especially b/c if it's not mono, it could still be strep. (My roommate actually had strep and mono).

Most senators and members of Congress don't really live in their home state anymore. They have a home there and visit it every once and while, but for the most part they live in DC. Pretty much all 535 of them have some type of home/condo here, and that's just because they spend most of their year here.

It's Congressman John Hostettler from the Indiana 8th (I freakishly know all this about him because I saw his office everyday for four months). He's also saying that according to some federal interstate code or something like that 69 is too high of a number and is breaking the code.

it's insanely addicting! GWU has one White Sox club that my friend and I started. It's small but oh well. If anyone wants to add me, they can. Just search for Fallara. I should be the only one that comes up, but just in case, my picture is of me and Buehrle.

I voted absentee, and I had a punchcard. This time wasn't as bad as the last time I voted absentee. That time it was a punchcard as well, and when I was done, I had about 50 hanging chads to pick off. This time I only had one.

Just in case anyone did not know this, the whole idea of being against a Catholic president because of the connection to the Pope was not a new thing in 1960. Since George Washington, Catholicism had been looked down upon by many people who believed a Catholic in power would be listening to the Pope and not the people which is why there hadn't been a Catholic in power before Kennedy. Religion, in general, on the other hand was important and still is to many. If the candidate was not religious, it was looked down upon by the voters.

I was at an election party. They had Fox News on as well as someone online checking the other news networks. For a while I watched CNN because I left the party to sit and eat with some friends. My complaint about CNN is on the ticker they only showed who was leading and by what percent. Whereas Fox News had that on the ticker in addition to how many precincts were reporting. For the most part, I couldn't hear the news anyway so it didn't really matter.

I don't know if I would term that the "Oh no moment of the day" I think I would have to call that the "Holy s***, are you effin' kidding me!?" moment of the day. At least that's how it would be for me.

I don't really think we should be gloating, but I want to. And that's because of my school. I have put up with all the Democrats on this campus giving all the Republicans crap and saying how Bush isn't going to win. But now that he has they're all walking around pissed off. And I know darn well if Kerry won the Dems would be gloating like crazy. I have not gloated, but everyone is acting like I am. My roommates won't even talk to me. So point is: if I can't gloat then all the Kerry supporters need to grow up and stop pouting.

I'm one of the other young voters who voted. In fact, I sent in my absentee ballot application the first day I could. Also, I'm one of the happy people here. I'm skipping class because I'm going to try and get in to see the victory speech.
