    Insanity

I think this program would be really good for tennis. I don't know of anywhere but online to buy it.

yeah so far i think it's worth it, one of my friends at work is a beach body coach so I got the entire deluxe package at a discounted price, but i still think it's a good system and worth it. Now on to week two, then week 3 and i'm off to AZ for some Spring Training!!! Probably going to take the videos with me and try to keep up with it as much as I can while I'm out there.

did the pure cardio yesterday and it should be called pure hell. very tough but i made it through most of it with a few stops for rest here and there, the people on the video couldn't even make it through without resting. i'm feeling better everyday with this program.

yeah you can do it at home, you do jump a lot but it's all about proper form of course. If you can do P90X at home then i think Insanity won't be a problem.

a few guys here at work started this about 4 weeks ago, i just started this week, it's pretty tough but i feel better already. I'll keep you posted.
  7. pretty sure he's been on there for some time now, this isn't new news
  8. i don't have any hatred towards him, just seems like most former Sox players do well against us.
  9. he won't do as well as last season but i'm sure he'll be at his best when he plays us....
  10. Jose Guillen and left fielder David DeJesus.
  11. Mets, both my mom and grandmother are die hard Mets fans, I enjoyed the 86 series with them!
  12. we changed quite a bit going into 2005 and that worked out well. I agree with DBAHO we needed a change to the lineup from last year.
  13. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Dec 17, 2009 -> 09:24 AM) Yes, it *is* remotely true. LEDs do NOT look better than my new Samsung Plasma -- at BEST, they could match current plasma or 120hzLCD in terms of visual quality, but at a premium of 1500$ and possibly in a smaller size. I know because I had one...and returned it for the Plasma I now own...which I will not be returning, because it's that much better, it's bigger, and it was way cheaper. I repeat, someday you will be right...but right now LED TV technology is in it's infancy, it has it's problems, and it's too expensive. Problems that have long been worked out of LCD 120hz, Plasma, and DLP televisions. If I was to recommend anything to someone right now, either get a current generation Plasma or a current generation LCD @120hz. And don't believe the screen burn hype when it comes to Plasmas...that's a thing of the past. They have many built in protections against this now. This is the TV I currently own...it's a bit expensive for Plasma because it's current generation...but I couldn't pass up the fact that it's 1.2" thick. http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/tv-vide...type=prd_detail Ditto on that, I just got the same tv, i needed a good sized screen for a large bedroom with not much sunlight so that's why I went with a plasma, I got a sony blu-ray player and cannot believe how good the picture is. I went to a friends last night who has a 55" LED samsung and the picture was as good by the blacks were nowhere near as rich as on my plasma. Eventually I will probably pick up a LED for the family room to replace my Sharp 32" LCD, but not until they come down in price, btw I picked up the Samsung Plasma for about 1400.
  14. rotoworld reporting the Yanks are interested in Johnson
  15. yeah we don't get to too many games living down in Indianapolis, so when we went to a few this year it was like dam it cost more to park than our dam tickets!
  16. I was at last nights game, upper deck and yes there were many Tigers fans, and Let's Go Tigers chants, it was almost like a Boston game with the amount of opposing fans. Everyone could see Freddy had no gas in the tank and should have been taken out when Ozzie went out there the first time, but i guess it didn't matter b/c the bullpen didn't help and the tigers just dink the hell out of them.
  17. it's almost as if somebody else wrote that for him b/c he actually sounds somewhat intelligent in his writing. Overall good analysis, but as others have said we've been saying the same things on this board for some time now.

  20. QUOTE (MattZakrowski @ Jul 14, 2009 -> 06:39 PM) I think he came in 2nd, and gave up a homer that let him steal the win. and I think Esteban Loaiza started in 2003
  21. I tore my ACL when I was 17 playing soccer, i'm 34 now. I was on crutches for 6 weeks then a knee brace for about 8 months after. Therapy lasted 9 months, they used part of my patella tendon to replace my ACL. My knee still feels as good as new, i still play many sports. try to strengthen your knee as much as you can prior to the surgery, which will help in recovery. Hang in there it's a long tough road to recovery but you can do it.
