I was pissed when he was signed. Knew immediately it was a terrible signing. At the very least, the White Sox Organization figured it out now, rather than going through the whole year. The whole process was a F, now maybe a D grade because at least they are reactive enough here.

Scheduling is difficult. Important to match up with teams near you while also important to match up with your main competition for the betterment of credibility. I like that they play their division so much, makes it easier to see who really was the best team. With that being said, I think they should try to map it out better, no reason to play the twins so much during one stretch of time. Better to have it seperated to see how the teams evolve over a year. I'm also all for league realignment/divison realignment and expansion teams to make it even better.

Nice posts @YourWhatHurts! I kinda agree with you for the most part. I feel that Story isn't the right trade target, unless he costs very little, or unless the white sox office feels blackmon is an ideal fit for some odd reason and they take him on.

But this is still correct, story is amazing but honestly just not a good balance fit for our cws. much better fit is gallo

im open to frazier as long as he doesn't come at a huge price. He'd be a nice piece on this team for the 1.5 years. would still desire a bigger splash like Starlin marte or Gallo or Story.

Honestly, that should be standard operating procedure, but who knows with how little $$$ the brass wants to spend :(. Adding a guy like Story for a minimal cost like that for 3 months should be an absolute no brainer for a team destined for the playoffs. Gotta think the financials will work itself out with a deep playoff run reward.

*BEST* Trade GETS: 1) Joey Gallo - BY FAR the best. Why? He's under contract for another year. He's a lefty which helps balance our lineup. He can play great defense at multiple positions. He is a power hitter which we (surprisingly) need right now. Get him, plug him in RF and you have a future of Vaughn+Robert+Gallo in the OF and Eloy at DH. Can also spell Moncada at 3b. Can we get him? IDK. I'd 100% be willing to trade Crochet for him. Or even Jarred Kelley. 2) Starlin Marte - Complete rental, but a RHB that hits righties well. Impact bat, shouldn't cost a ton since it'd be a rental. 3) Adam Frazier - Left handed batter offers balance. Gives an extra year of control. Question is, is he a mirage? Only a good GET if he comes extremely cheap. 4) Trevor Story - Don't get me wrong. I WANT TREVOR STORY. Problem is, he's a SS that is right handed and isn't as good of a hitter against righties as he is against lefties. Not a great fit. Maybe he can play 2b and of course he'd be a dynamic add, but I'm guessing he costs more than hes worth to the club. 5) Eduardo Escobar - Switch hitter, plays a ton of positions, fills in nicely. Has power. Rental. Should be super cheap.

Yeah, the trade deadline will be very interesting. Last year our white sox didn't make the big trade and it might have cost them in the playoffs. Let's see if we can switch it up this year and add big. Other teams will be adding.

TBH this game hardly matters. Going into this series I was hoping for a split with how bad we were playing and the twins bats coming alive. Winning the first 2 has been so sweet. That was pretty much the nail in the twins coffin. If we win this? That's a big momentum boost that we needed and effectively ends the twinkies. If we lose? Oh well, we won the series 2-1 at a time that we were very, very weak. Way to go! Let's have a fun day.
