  1. Joe Crede has had 3 terrible AB this game. Meanwhile, Uribe and his 3rd highest BA in the AL is sitting on the bench. If this is what OzzieBall is, god help us.
  2. f*** this team. What a bunch of pathetic, heartless losers that get their asses handed to them by an inferior talented team. I hope that when Maggs and Loaiza leave after this year, they take KW with them. No excuse not to make some changes to this team that wasn't good enough to win the AL central last year.
  3. This is a perfect time for Ozzie to get tossed. Show some fire instead of sitting back and watching this team continue to suck!
  4. Another terrible 0-2 pitch by a White Sox pitcher. This team freaking sucks.
  5. Ozzie's managing the last week has been mind boggling. If Manuel was still in charge, people would be calling for his head. The hitting approach tonight is making me sick. This team is so flat.
  6. Wow, not one pop up by the Twins in the 5th inning. They're putting on an exhibition on why they always beat the Sox.
  7. This game shows one of the reasons we need Uribe in the line-up. He's one of the few Sox players who doesnt try to hit a homer on every pitch. Between Maggs, Frank, Crede, Konerko, and Lee, the Sox have too much of a homer or fly-out offense.
  8. What was that by Carlos? Did anyone see the two swings he took...he barely swung the bat. It looked like he was taking practice swings. During the game is no time to work on things.
  9. Rowand continues to be poor in the field. How long until the Sox get an upgrade in CF? It seems like since Singleton's break-thru season, the Sox have been well below average with their CF talent.
  10. Uribe has been our catalyst all season. Of course, that means he doesn't play vs our biggest rival in the first two games. Also, Willie has got to stop faking the bunt and getting himself into a hole like he has been. He's making himself a much easier out.
  11. Seriously, why do people get mad if someone suggest that Ozzie isn't capable of being a manager? His decisions lately have been worse than Manuel, if you ask me.
  12. There was no excuse not to have Uribe hit for Sandy there. If Sandy got the bunt down, it likely could have been a DP.
  13. FIRE OZZIE!!! RELEASE SANDY!!!
  14. Diaz is lucky that he did not give up more runs than he did today. The O's hit a lot of balls right at Sox players. KW needs to go out and get another pitcher for the Sox if they want to contendwith the best team of grinders you can find, the Twins.
  15. Just got home to see this line-up put out there by Ozzie. This is as big of a tinkering job as Manuel ever did. Not a fan of this line-up at all.
  16. I dont get why Ozzie played Konerko and Rowand instead of Timo and Gload against a RHP with a good slider. Lefties hit over .75 pts better than righties do against Miller.
  17. Loaiza is really concerning me. His stuff is nowhere near as sharp as it was last year. This is obvious by the the amount of hits and homers he's allowing, as well as a huge decrease in strikeouts.
  18. Why should anyone be real optimistic with this team after the last few games? I do not really think the Sox have played anywhere near their capability so far this season. The players that have exceeded my expectations have been Schoeneweis, Uribe, Harris, Olivo, and Cotts. That's 5 of th 25 players, and not one of our supposed studs are on that list. Hopefully they can start to heat up for the Twinkies next weekend.
  19. So you're saying you're comfortable with a relief pitcher in crucial situations that has control problems. We have three of them in the bullpen with Koch, Politte, and Cotts. Don't get me wrong, I've been very impressed w/Cotts this year.
  20. One of the reasons I've always nervous about Cotts in relief is that he walks too many batters. The walk to Wells will end up being the winning run.
  21. The one run games were a mirage for what is really going on. This Sox team f***ing sucks. We get no centerfield production, we're paying 4 guys (Maggs/Frank/Carlos/PK) to have no balls in clutch situations. It's time to make some changes. We have to be proactive, and not reactive.
  22. That pitch to Wells was a much better pitch than the strike the umpire called on Sandy to avoid the lead-off walk.
  23. Carlos needs to be benched. He's just as ineffective as Konerko was last year when everyone complained he needed to be benched. Lee is now 3-26 w/RISP.
  24. So let me get this right...We play Jose vs a tough lefty in Lilly, but not vs a righty. Also, Timo is a weak flyout machine it seems like.
  25. Konerko displayed absolutely no range at 1b tonight. A huge play in the game was when he didnt field Delgado's grounder in the 6th before the homers. It was a tough play, but one that should be made.
