Yea, Colon is only 4-2 because of his offense and he hasn't been going that deep consistently like he did last year so although I was probably one of the most dissapointed when he left I am ok with it AT THE MOMENT...as far as ponson, I am not glad we don't have him because I think coop could've really helped him and I think so far he is not pitching up to his potential and when things unfold he'll have a good year.

Maybe Sweeney? I really want to know how he transitioned from high school last year to this year. That is SO AWESOME that these interviews are available. Thank you so much alex and futuresox.com. This is great. I thought Reed made a good point as to why he doesn't follow the White Sox and I agree with him. I also like his attitude.

When I've seen uribe run at the games, he just doesn't look like a runner. He got caught when i saw him and then later in the game I saw him rounding third and he just looked SLOW. Willie should def. be running in most situations, but I wouldn't go as far as uribe...I just dont have a feeling about him running the bags.

8 walks in 13.1 innings is terrible. and Koch's WHIP is 1.50 which I agree with you witesox is TERRIBLE. I dont know what you are talking about with koch. He should not be getting anyone's praises and should only be bashed until he puts together some saves. There was already a thread like this after baltimore and most people agreed his performances so far have been unacceptable.

This team is not built to run. It is built to the smack the hell out of the ball and get runs by doing that. But I agree with you brando on the hit and run and sac bunts. Those are fundamentals that need to done each and every time they called upon. THERE IS NO EXCEPTION FOR NOT LAYING DOWN A BUNT TO ADVANCE THE RUNNER! It's fundamentals that wins the close ones and they do need to do what brando says: shape the f*** up

Carlos had 253 at bats in the 2 spot last year and batted .320. I hope ozzie will at least try him again at the two spot after waht he did last year

My first agreement with brando! We need loaiza to get back to the 93-94. We're already trying to find a 5th pitcher, zesty has to get his wins to at leaset 15 if we want a chance. hopefully that arm strength will improve and he'll get back to last years form.

As you say, nothing substitutes watching the game and I see him making dives and having range and that will not be taken away from my eyes because i see what i see. As far as carlos to the 2 spot, didn't he hit really well there last year? if he did, then why not do it again. And also, they mostly dont give errors to fielders if they are running sideways towards the ball and attempt to back hand it or something and bobble it. Errors are usually ligit and aren't given because they amazingly got there but couldn't make the play. Jose earned his errors.

I agree with 4 games because i don't think we could have a skid worst than getting 4 games off the pace and during that time we might be unlucky with the twins hitting a stretch of consecutive wins, but no worries, i think the team has the tools to get out of any slump they are in...like the current one

Going back to the godsend topic, this is one of the reasons this place is a godsend. dedicated sox fans getting together to enjoy the ball game. i love it, maybe ill have a chance at going.

Hey, if Diaz works out that would be great. I really hope he does then maybe we can trade for another bat instead of a starter.

aboz, you make me laugh. brando, what does a third baseman need to do for your approval?! chavez is one of the best in the game and you bash him. Crede's experienced is young and he has WON games for the sox this year and im done talking about his fielding beacuse i have seen him dive and throw consistently.

going back to the overrated...how is he overrated? none of us "homers" are saying that he is best, we're just saying he deserves a lot more credit than you are giving him which is true if you watch the plays he makes
