  1. Just heard that he is at the shootaround in Atlanta for the GT game tonight, so it thankfully sounds like B.S.
  2. It's on various UNC boards now, but nothing has been close to confirmed.
  3. Fun rumor that Tywon Lawson has been kicked off the team for not going to class...
  4. Not sure why Brad Daugherty would be sent a ring, he wasn't on the 1982 squad ;-).
  5. Might be the first time you can truly say, "good job Millen". According to NFL.com's stats, Foster started 13 of 16 games for Denver. Detroit got two very nice talents out of the deal as well. Denver can still sign a back, maybe even make a run at Jamal Lewis, or draft one, as they don't have many other needs.
  6. Then you get to throw at Dre Bly, http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2784408 Ridiculous tandem of cornerbacks for Denver.
  7. After reading this thread lately I can't understand why all the rest of the teams in college basketball don't just give up and crown Kansas as G.O.A.T. Heck, Julian Wright and his 2.2 apg apparently have him already on a level with Lebron, Tim Duncan, and Boris Diaw as passers. While Sherron Collins gaudy numbers of 9.7ppg, 2.8apg, and 2.2 rpg have him as the best PG in the nation. Can't even imagine where Brandon Rush's 13.7 ppg put him on the NBA level, MJ-esque(35ppg?)? Darrell Arthur averages 10.6ppg in only 19.6 mpg. Heck in the NBA next year when he's playing against inferior competition compared to his Kansas practices, he will obviously be putting up over 22 ppg while not even needing 40 minutes of playing time.
  8. The only BCS school with atleast 21 wins that was snubbed so far that I can find was Memphis in 2005, and they had 16 losses to go with their 21 wins. Still searching though.
  9. Not being sarcastic, but don't the Illini have 21 wins already? If so, has a BCS team with atleast 21 wins ever been left out of the tournament? I don't think you guys have anything to worry about tourney wise.
  10. Clemson 17-0 to probably not being in the tourney, can't even write this kind of stuff.
  11. I'm probably the only one that went and got my remote and brought it back to the computer for this thread.
  12. Arguably Memphis' toughest game this year came at Zona, and we know how bad they are now. They took Clemson's pre-season schedule and made it last all season long :-).
  13. How could Bynum NOT be the price for Kidd? The Nets are in serious need for a center, and there's nothing else attractive on the Lakers roster that they would trade(Kobe, Odom). If the Nets deal Kidd without getting Bynum, they lost the deal, no matter what.
  14. Maybe Illinois should just clean house completely and start over with the program ala Baylor.
  15. I've been dying for an HDTV and I have been researching the heck out of them for the past few months. Here's a few sites that might help you out. http://www.ibuydigital.com/ might be cheaper on certain TV's, especially bigger ones http://reviews.cnet.com/4323-6531_7-6509125.html?tag=dir for grades on certain TV's
  16. Why would you say he's the best guy left? He's a retread that has failed at his past 2-3 jobs. Can't imagine passing up a proven coordinator that deserves a shot like Rivera over a guy that just gets passed around the NFL after each job failure. Norv is a good coordinator, he's just not head coaching material, and he's proven it a few times over now.
  17. Good choice... get rid of a guy that can at least coach well during the season and hire a guy that can't coach particularly well at anytime.

  19. REALLY sucks for me, as he was the main reason I became a Heat fan. What a scumbag.
  20. Be careful Heads, Longar might elbow you in the head or stomp on your face like he does against Texas Tech.
  21. Ahh well, this isn't our year. Good luck to the contenders this year.
  22. VT giving UNC all they can handle again. UNC up 1 with 2 minutes to go. Now it's tied at 73 with 35 seconds left, UNC with the ball for the possible last shot. Sheesh.
