If I was a betting man, I would bet on GT making a very strong showing against ND. Tenuta is a buttwipe of a man, but a heck of a defensive mind. Ball and Calvin will be tough to stop as well. I know the ND guys on the board will disagree. -
It sucks so bad having a UNC player on the Tigers. Especially one as talented as Miller. That rotation is going to be absolutely nasty for years to come.

I feel like taking a shower after reading anything about Sonny Vacaro. What a piece of crap that man is.

Aww man, that cover is going to make me puke and have 2nd thoughts of buying the game.

The boobs and the karate chop on the snake really did it for me. -

Don't go see Pulse either. I was really excited about it from the previews, and I should have left it at that. -
Take everything from Doyel with a grain of salt. He's mainly a college basketball writer, not sure why he's getting into this. Got my own answer from his bio. "Which means that, when Doyel is on his keyboard, nothing and nobody is safe. Read him regularly -- but why? -- and he's eventually going to piss you off. Doyel pissed off Charlotte Observer readers (and management) for six years before jumping to CBS SportsLine in 2003 to write about college basketball. After burning bridges for three years, Doyel was pulled off that beat. Now he's writing about whatever he wants, assuming Freeman doesn't want to write about it first." Yipee, now nothing is safe from his writings.

Yeah Tex, I would think something like simple assault would be sufficient. Aggravated Assault would be about the max I would expect.

I think that's the key. Depending on how young the snakes were, baby rattlesnakes don't know how much venom to use when biting yet and are the most dangerous. Though I think they should change the word "pranksters" to the word "criminals".
-
I, personally, would hate to be watching any movie and have a rattlesnake bite me. Possibly if it was something like Cats and Dogs, then it might put me out of my misery.

No problem, you have my prayers.

http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/trackandfiel...tory?id=2554220 I'll eat a lot of crow here GHC. She is just another piece of s*** afterall. "I have a passion for the sport," she said at the time. "I have a passion to compete, and nobody's going to take that away from me, as long as I can cheat"

Solar Neighborhood now a little more crowded...

Agree. I would just consider planets such as Pluto, X, etc as Kuiper Belt objects and be done with it for now. Otherwise they will spend alot more time finding new "planets". -

That's what confused me. Ganymede is the biggest moon in our known Solar System, it is one of Galileo's Jupiter moon findings. You could be right about the round part though. Jupiters fast rotation could be distorting Ganymede enough to not be considered. -

So, for those that follow this closer than I, why would Charon be added as a planet but a moon like Ganymede didn't make the cut? -
Yep exactly. I think you will see him split out side as the 3rd receiver more than any other back in the league, even as a rookie.

We all know Reggie is blazing fast. The main question now is how durable he will be. He has a thick body, and didn't have much injury problems at USC, which would lead me to believe he ok in the NFL. He seems to have the very important ability to adjust his body just before the hit to deflect some of the force, ala Barry Sanders. He's going to be a special "slash" player. As for Mario Williams, don't count him out at all. He came out of the combines as impressive as Julius Peppers. Granted, Julius gained 25 pounds in the NFL and actually improved his 40 time, but Mario is still a freak of nature, in the same class athletically as Freeney, Peppers, and Kearse. We will see if he shows the same production on the field.

I'm the same way. I picked a great year to begin getting College Gameplan with Directv. This year is full of parody in college football, much like last year with basketball. I'm holding out a hope of Texas Tech winning the Big 12 finally, and UNC breaking the 8 win plateau. Will be fun to see UNC's much improved defense tested against teams like Miami, Notre Dame, and even Rutgers to begin the season. -
I like everything but the background. You might change it to something like this. You could change the color of the sky to something funky even.
-
Pretty crazy. UConn took a pair of 2009 commitments today in basketball. Alex Oriakhi and Jamal Coombs. Both are talented, but who knows how much they will develop. Derrick Caracter was all the rage when he was 15 years old, and never really got out of that 15 year old chunky game.

That's pretty crazy, I could have made that exact post, almost word for word. Nice thoughts.

Who will be the best QB in the league this year?
Palehosefan replied to cuddlyboy26's topic in A and J's Olde Tyme Sports Pub
lmao, how can I argue with that? -

Take this for example. That is simply not true. Do you honestly think college coaches don't teach players how to run proper routes? Do you think it's some magical line of thinking that only clicks in the NFL? Of course players get by more on talent at the college level, but that line of thinking can be said for every position and is obsolete. Receivers in the NFL for the most part have been coached by WR coaches for atleast 4 years, Hines had no coaching in the area until the NFL. That is a reason why this argument is over. -

I'm going to let this go, so others can have the thread back. Fun argument.
